    I get that the move to Scunthorpe didn't work out for him, but he didn't become a bad player overnight.

    We have seen dozens of good players come to Bradford City and perform woefully, it doesn't mean they're bad players - but not every club suits every player.

    I'm very, very confident that had McArdle stayed, his form wouldn't have dipped like it did at Scunny.

    Just thinking. We get a lot of players who are meant to be sh!t hot, and when they arrive at VP, suddenly they become absolute garbage. In fact there's too many to even list.

    But - when has it happened in reverse? We've had a cracking player, and sold him on, and he's become a bad player overnight....

    Think its mostly to do with chopping and changing mangers. Even so from the past few years fair few have been long ball merchants. So any flair players quickly disappear.

    That was his last club according to Wiki, which is usually universally wrong when it comes to non-league players!

    Not too bad, I guess, but at 32 I'd have thought he might be reaching the end of his League One career.

    I see Jake Wright is still without a club. Would love Stuart to invite him to come and train with us. Left sided central defender with experience. Just what we need really. I don't think my heart can take much more of BRE rampaging upfield much longer!
