There's no point keeping Ismael, he's never fit enough to play. Time to move him on and get a replacement we can rely on.

 

Do you know what I couldn’t care less if they all went. Sometimes I really miss players who move on, but I can honestly say I wouldn’t miss any of them!

 

Since Josh Cullen signed 4 years ago we have used 92 new players and that is part of the problem we have such a churn because we are signing tripe, and changing managers who then want new tripe.

we need to take stock and sign a manager with a two year plan, and if that is SM he should have been given a 2.5year deal

I'd prefer for Stuart to build his own team. We could easily ditch the majority of those players and bring in half as many, better quality players. The bulk of the midfield can go for me, that area needs a complete rethink and no passengers.

 

I was there. Where have I questioned whether you were there or not? Have I missed something in regards to Doyle's winners medals? Where's the evidence that Doyle has a cabinet full of trophy's? Lower league footballers only really have the option of winning the league so I don't get your reference in regards to winning things? O'Donnell is 3 years his junior and played about 100 more games. Doyle is not required. The old ex players comfort blanket is back out again. The midfield needs sorting first, the keeper is not an issue and he wasn't yesterday either.

 

Agreed. Our top scorer by a mile and would get chances created for him under McCall who would use him in a totally different manner. If he was playing for a manager he liked I'm sure he wouldn't have jumped ship. Would be a real threat given the service. Absolute miracle he made double figures playing Bowyer Ball.

 

We already did ourselves a mischief by refusing Rory McArdle a long term deal and our defence has never been the same since.

Vaughan was a fairly safe bet, he scored 11 in half a season, far better than any other strikers at City in quite some time.

Zero chance we struggle to offload him if we need to - but not sure why we need to? Boreyer is a distant memory.

 

I see Jake Wright is still without a club. Would love Stuart to invite him to come and train with us. Left sided central defender with experience. Just what we need really. I don't think my heart can take much more of BRE rampaging upfield much longer!

 

O'Connor has another year left, he signed a three year deal I'm sure.

Other than that I'd keep O'Donnell and Reeves. Then maybe Ismail, McCartan and Donaldson. Maybe. But I wouldn't care if those three left. Rest not good enough.

 

I wouldnt die in a ditch over any of em. None. Yeah theres a few you'd rather keep than not. But so what? This is a shite squad.

 

Why would you keep Donaldson when he can't get into a rubbish team? And he'll be nearly 37.

 

Ian Ormondroyd is 6ft 5 and loved it. Still lives local, knows the club and all that. Does that mean he should be in the number 9 shirt?

O'Donnell perhaps. The rest, like the loan players, can do one.

 

I really do think Donaldson, Reeves & McCarten are only worth keeping but for 2 summers we keep replacing players with worse ones and that's got to stop, a smaller better squad.

We've bombed out McLoughlin, McArdle, Law & Hiwula, a spine of a good team, and replaced them (more than once) with inferior "anybodys".

 

O'Donnell, Mellor, Henley, A O’Connor, Reeves, Devine, Akpan, Anderson, McCartan, Donaldson, Sykes-Kenworthy, Taylor, Ismail, Gibson.‬

 

Think Reeves will take his chance to go back down south. The rest can go.
