The video has been taken down as it shows three people dieing.

would you want a film of your child, or your parent dieing on Facebook?

Heres her quote with regards grooming : “Those abused girls in Rotherham and elsewhere just need to shut their mouths. For the good of diversity.” and another with regards Isreal : The message said said the US had “plenty of land” and that the move would restore peace to the Middle East go ahead and defend both racist comments.

Let's go back to your original quote when you quoted her as having said it. Your original quote just wasn't true.

Do you want to point me to where I said that or are you just making it up?

The word I used was democracy too, not general elections. Referendums are a form of democracy so the same rules apply.

The demographics of the ward Naz Shah represents means she carn't lose , this is ignoring the facts that 40k people signed a petition for her deselection , not only for the grooming scandle and her anti- semetic outburst that led to her suspension from the Labour party . She did rightly appologise for her anti - semetic comments , but did she appologise to appease the Labour party or because she was wrong in her original views ?. I would have no problems what so ever with her being an MP if you stuck to being an MP . She organised a letter signed by most of the Labour front bench saying Pritti Patel should not use her ethnicity to highlight her childhood and use it for political scoring , yet David Lammy - Diane Abbott have done the same thing for years .

    Why?
Clearly people who voted for Naz Shah in greatly increased numbers had their reasons for doing so. Just has those who voted for Brexit had theirs. Yet it seems it's ok to brand one set of voters as thick for doing so, but not another.
Explain why that's a shocking comparison. It seems perfectly logical to me.

I don't understand how you can't see it as strange to compare people that vote for Naz Shah and people that voted for Brexit, they are voting for someone who endorsed child grooming. That level of thick isn't quite on the level of someone who you feel has been mislead by a political campaign is it? Morally everything is absolutely criminal about Naz Shah, so to compare a person who gives a vote to a twisted MP with a horrific track record on grooming to something like Brexit is stupid. No two ways about. It's a strange comparison!

Starmer needs to purge Labour of the momentum loons that have run it into the ground for the last 5 years.

    This is a good start.

The hardest part of Starmers job is not defeating the tories, its clearing the toxic waste from within that has denied Labour the last couple of elections. It will be tough turning around a sinking ship that has a habit of sinking itself rather than anything to do with the opposition. Get rid of the foul stench that follows the party round by showing strong leadership and he could be in power for a long time, as long as they don't tear themselves apart. thats the worry for Starmer, the warring factions wanting to send the party in different direction. Starmer must be clear in his thinking, if that means casualties along the way then all the better.

Your middle paragraph is the political game in a nutshell and something that the Tories are very good at in pulling together for the greater good despite what differences they might have. Corbyn's well sentimented but naive political views might have had a whiff of Labour of yesteryear but that ship sailed a long time ago. It has effectively put Labour back years rather than galvanised them as a credible opposition.
Its where Starmer has to be strong, the dissenting voices have to crushed early doors or the party will just keep giving the winning pass the parcel back to the Conservatives come voting time.
As the Tories have shown, its about geting your feet through the door first, once you have the keys to the door you can do what you like when you're inside. No point whatsoever being outside the door kicking and stamping your feet with your own little agenda, when in opposition you're views are merely an opinionj with little relevance.

That's the big problem in this kind of debate. Some people, especially some politicians who do it for their own agendas, conflate being opposed to the Israeli Govt's policies with being anti-semitic. Simply because many people disagree fundamentally for example, with the building of Jewish settlements on land invaded by the Israeli army in previous conflicts doesn't mean that those people are anti-semitic. It's that they beliueve what the Israeli state is doing is just wrong. There's a huge difference between that and being anti-semitic although I can think of some politicians who choose not to understand the difference. We don't hear of people who criticise China's foreign policy or India's internal policies as being racist. No. People are simply disagreeing with the policies of the respective Govts as some others from other parts of the world criticise our own Govt's policies without being called racist. And I don't understand why that principle isn't also extended to those who criticise the policies of the Israeli Govt. Criticising the Israeli Govt doesn't mean it is anti-semitic.

Have you been watching the news ? 3 dead several injuried in Reading after a BLM march , all the victims are white , a man as been arrested . BLM said it was a " peaceful protest " ( although illegal ) . BBC saying its a terrorist attack , the man arrested was a Libiyan . The video was shown all over social media but as now been withdrawn . Disgraceful , not doubt the Media and Police will already be putting damage limitation in place .

And if there's a 'White lives matter' protest (which there won't be 'cos we're letting them take the piss) they'll all be rounded up and charged with racism....

Who said it makes everything OK? You were to one to quote her incorrectly and it simply wasn't true. It you want to quote people, by all means do so but make sure it's a correct quote and not some urban myth.
