It might not be what a lot of supporters want but SOME of those players will be given a second chance to turn their City career around. Question is....have City fans got the patience? even when we know the budget?

If thats the case what will the club do if/when the police drop any charges, the joint school facilities are the ones both the school and Bradford City will also use in the future ?.

Don't know if I've missed the point Bronco but it seems like a very daft question?

Answer in simple terms £1800000 in 2008 would get you £2,359,221.24 in 2018. Whereas £2100000 in 2012 would get you £2,435,964.91in 2018. That is using the Bank of England inflation calculator. Football inflation may well be at a different level. https://www.bankofengland.co.uk/monetary-policy/inflation/inflation-calculator

That’s right buddy. I have this image of you as some hybrid Gareth Cheeseman / David Brent character, with maybe a bit of Jordan Belfort thrown in for good measure.

I have much sympathy with your point of view. I don’t think the club want to keep them, but they are letting their head rule their heart. They would have to pay them off, god only knows how much that would cost, on top of that we would still need to plug the deficit and then provide a competitive budget to bring in players. Not sure how much it would cost but maximum £1.6 million, as most of them have a year left. Plus Bowyer might need a couple of them. You could argue that we are paying that for them now, so why not ask them to leave. We may well see how it pans out, and do just that in January.

He could run his contract down and leave for free in which case we’ll get nowt.
Same thing happened with Tom Cleverley.

Yes I agree totally head/pocket ruling the heart
We can only hope that the "misfits" come to realize a playing career is very short lived and if they don't want to make it even shorter it's time to pull their fingers out no player will want to be remembered as an "also ran" in L2 particularly as the are still relatively young
Hopefully their agents may realize this and provide some encouragement

When Edin left results did get better in December then Hopkin messed it all up in Jan against Barnsley then handled players he didn't like poorly.

The recruitment in Jan was awful
    Drury was still there
And Bowyer comes in and fails to make a difference

No idea, but imagine they’ll throw the kitchen sink at it again. They’ve retained the vast majority of their squad and released only 3 players. It could be higher this campaign.
