Looking at the subs bench for Accrington yesterday he would have made that and been another attacking option if required.

 

If we are comparing him to Bruenker that should probably tell us all we need to know. He at least has a couple of league goals for us, same can’t be said of Kai. For all the hard work, surely we need better than both of them though, if we have any aspirations to aim higher? I’m sure Hopkin will take a look at him, but it’s not going to be easy for him if he was unable to get established at Yeovil.

 

No he will not make it under Hopkin.

DH is proving he can extract the best in terms of effort and talent from players.

He's has pace to burn ( son of a sprinter), lets try add a footballing brain to that
DH will work with him, he may get a diamond out of him.
If not, into non-league he goes, he's already contracted to us, we've nothing to lose.

Yeah. He was on and off the bench, too. If he fancies a return to L1 we should make a move! Was decent but unfortunate to be here at the same time as best LB in the league - Mezza.

Yeah, haha, I can't imagine Hopkin will be blinded by a couple of performances like Edin & co were!

 

Saw enough from him at the beginning of last season to suggest more potential than Kai (not that that really counts for anything!) but needs serious improvement to be anywhere near good enough at this level.

That he got little game at a struggling league 2 team says it all. Let him have a chance to impress Hopkin but I'm not holding out hope.

That 3 year contract on the back of a great goal and a couple of reasonable performances was way too hasty.

He’d be better off at Halifax or Harrogate to try prove his worth.

He won’t get anywhere near our first team at the minute.

 

Their bench probably has more quality on it then ours going off the last few games

 

Not sure why people are comparing him to Kai as they play in totally different positions.

This to me will work a couple of ways. He comes back, they take a look at him and see what they think. If they think he can help the squad out he stays, if not, he goes. Simple as that.

 

Patrick isn't good enough and never will be. Get rid.

 

You can't train poor players to be good ones, or every player would be vaguely the same standard. It's rather obvious.

If it was just a case of focusing on something in order to improve it, you wouldn't need transfers.

 

I wouldn't. At least Kai puts some effort in which I don't think we saw from Patrick

 

Tbh looking at the number 9 for accy yesterday him and Patrick look similar quite a bit of pace but not the most skilful or the best first touch, however I wonder if hopkin could make him into a winger rather than a forward player.
