Looking at the subs bench for Accrington yesterday he would have made that and been another attacking option if required.

 

Can you name a young player clearly benefitting from said alchemy?

And don't say O'Brien, he's been class throughout.

Hopkin knows who has talent and who doesn't. If they're not ready, they're out; last chance for Patrick after repeated failings.

He's a true Edin-quality signing living it up on a swish three year deal after washing out at Barnsley's crappy development squad.

I'd spend the next 6 months keeping him well away from the side and focusing on gym work to bang on some muscle.

He can't control the ball, but can finish. He could be the next Lukaku.

Saw enough from him at the beginning of last season to suggest more potential than Kai (not that that really counts for anything!) but needs serious improvement to be anywhere near good enough at this level.

That he got little game at a struggling league 2 team says it all. Let him have a chance to impress Hopkin but I'm not holding out hope.

That 3 year contract on the back of a great goal and a couple of reasonable performances was way too hasty.

The bit about keeping him away from the first team for 6 months isn't.

 

Tbh looking at the number 9 for accy yesterday him and Patrick look similar quite a bit of pace but not the most skilful or the best first touch, however I wonder if hopkin could make him into a winger rather than a forward player.

 

If we are comparing him to Bruenker that should probably tell us all we need to know. He at least has a couple of league goals for us, same can’t be said of Kai. For all the hard work, surely we need better than both of them though, if we have any aspirations to aim higher? I’m sure Hopkin will take a look at him, but it’s not going to be easy for him if he was unable to get established at Yeovil.

Yeah, haha, I can't imagine Hopkin will be blinded by a couple of performances like Edin & co were!

 

He’d be better off at Halifax or Harrogate to try prove his worth.

He won’t get anywhere near our first team at the minute.
