And the same Aberdeen that lost to an amateur team from the Scottish equivalent of the Conference North (6th tier) the other night?

You do realise that most of the teams (other than Celtic and Rangers) in the SPL have a mass collective of failed EFL2 players in their first teams, right?

Behave, the standard of the Scottish and Polish leagues you quote is not non league standard. Never has never will be.

 

It's a matter of opinion. Aside from the top sides in each of those leagues, the remainder would not be out of place in League Two from a footballing standpoint let's put it that way.

Ross County, St Mirren, Livingston, Kilmarnock, Motherwell, St Johnstone make up 50% of the SPL. If they were in the English pyramid, where would you have them?

 

You said top two or three. I dispute that claim. I agree that the teams you mention are about league 2 standard.

 

We lost badly to Chesterfield in pre-season so does that mean the National League is better than League 2? We beat Blackburn last season so are we better than the Championship?

He's SPL standard simply because he's playing for an SPL team.

Just because you don't rate him and believe he should be playing lower doesn't actually make it true.
