I'm now very concerned for our survival next season. Grayson who has found it tough going and who ultimately failed in what he was brought here to do didn't wlant to stay for reasons we can only speculate at, seems like he couldn't wait to get out of here fast enough. Think we are in serious trouble.

 

What's deeply wrong and completely rotten to the core with OUR beloved football club is the two completely clueless owners who seem to be doing their very best to undo all the good work and progress made over recent years under Parkinson and McCall. They're destroying our club. Relegation awaits next season. Thanks R and R.

Lies from the day they walked in..........but hay let's not quote that because it doesn't suite our side of the debate, they are liers and can't be trusted, they say one thing and do the other, wake up smell the coffee, see where our club is under one who thinks his investment is "worth the risk", and the other who knows football and has coaching badges to back it up.

 

I don't really buy into this. They didn't make major changes to our infrastructure during last years pre season yet the budget was still cut despite the additional income we received through players sales and increased season ticket sales. "Investing in our Infrastructure" is another excuse used to justify a lack of ambition.

What is evident from the Grayson situation is that the model will not change. They will run the club their way regardless of outside influence. That’s fine, they’re the owners & they have the right to do so. However their policy has regressed the club and undone years of hard work on and off the field. They’re a cancer that’s eating at the very soul of Bradford City.

It is plainly obvious to me now that the only option is for them to go. I was prepared to see what happened this summer under Grayson’s stewardship. Because that would have meant the infrastructure he wanted to implement had been agreed to and that the owners were starting to change their approach to running the club. This obviously hasn’t happened.

As far as I’m now concerned they’ve had their final roll of the dice. They’ve passed the point of no return. I can’t speak for others but they’ve got to go. Lie after lie broken promise after broken promise, enough is enough. I will be sounding others out however I’m seriously considering starting a protest group ready for next season in the mould of Blackpool and Charlton, who’s supporters groups i’ll also ask for advice. They’ve got to go!!!!!

 

Are you for real, its because of fans that these two have had to come out resently and be accountable, thank goodness for fans who dare challenge what they are doing.

Love your positives, but how about negatives of:

Three diff managers under their regime.
Currently no manger.
A squad full of players who aren't good enough (and before you say that they were good enough to get us in the top six, a measure of a good player in my book, is one that can step up to the plate and get back to the good form they used to have).
Discontent among this band of players we have that aren't good enough.
Our top scorer and best player wants (and you state this) out.
Our top scorer leaving.
Probably our captain leaving (As it stands, Macca).
Fans being on two sides if they actually like our current captain.
Previous captain (Vince obviously) being subbed in games, and sometimes not even starting.
General feeling that the players aren't putting a shift in and not fit to wear the shirt.
Falling from a playoff position to a mid table position.
Falling from a playoff position during the transfer window and nothing was done to address it when there was an opportunity.
The board making statements about signing marquee players, but no one believed them.
The board saying we are aiming for top two, but not backing it up.
Not being able to get the players we wanted to get, even though they were on our B list.
Our pitch.
Our pitch demanding money spending on it. We've spent money on it before. Whose to say the figure quoted will be enough?
Fans on the boards back.
The board on the fans back.
Season tickets, despite being at "fantastic affordable prices" are in decline.
No clear plan by the board on how to progress the club.
Lack of communication from one of the board members.
Not knowing what role that particular board member does.
The other board member not knowing which role he wants to do, so seems to take on everything.
Our Director of Comms rumoured to be leaving.
Previous manager (or shall we say managers) shooting parting shots at the board and how the club is run.

I could go on, but I think I've said enough. I'm sure others will add.

Can't wait for the new kit though! Always loved a shirt without a sponsors logo ruining it

 

You might have gone a bit early with this thread.
YP article today about same budget as this season. Squad overhaul. Refused a professional analyst. Training facilities.
Then there’s the fall out from Yeovil. Once we release players they will start to talk about what happened.
Once all of this is out in the open and exorcised can we draw a line and move forwards.
Even then however the owners credibility is holed below the waterline.
Hoping for the best. Fearing otherwise.
