I’ll make my isms wait until we have recruited a manager and a squad, if Grayson had come in and been a breath of fresh air I’m sure the board would’ve looked at his demands

But he went to the negotiating table with shit cards and a crap poker face. He’s become a losing manager that’s not easy to shake

On what basis ? I don't know what contact with the club you have but if you believe these owners have been anything but useless then why on earth should we listen to you ?

Fake news, what fake news. This is FACT. These clowns in charge have ripped our club apart, backroom staff that have been at the club years have lost their jobs, 4 managers in less than two years, two of which have walked because of what they have seen behind the scenes, season tickets down by a third because the fans are sick and tired of their lies and self egoist manner.
Yea right we will be ok.
For gods sake man give your head a shake and come into the real world.

It's hard to be positive after listening to that Grayson interview. "Things aren't right behind the scenes" (paraphrasing) and "I took the job and had good feelings about it, but it unfortunately didn't turn out that way" (paraphrasing again). Basically saying that he's fooking off because the whole structure of the club is shot to bits. Could be referencing Edin and his hands on approach. Could be referencing the Hendrie incident and its knock on effect. Could be referencing something else, but basically he's saying the club is rotten to the core.

Can't really see too many positives in that. The fact is, the owners didn't want a clean sheet of paper. They wanted Grayson. They wanted him long term when he first got here, and they wanted him long term today.

Huge egg on their faces tbh. Someone from the club needs to speak out, otherwise this house of cards is going to totally collapse pdq.

Didn't he reference the fact we don't own our own training pitches, and the state of the current VP pitch?

Yeah he did. Said the pitch needs work, and not having the training ground are also a problem - they are stopping Bradford being a progressive club. But he also mentioned that behind the scenes "needs some work", and that his decision to join us didn't really quite work out how he'd liked.
Have a listen. He's fairly honest. Says he doesn't have any relationship problems with Edin. But he definitely sounded like he was heaving a huge sigh of relief about leaving.

He did state he wanted a good opportunity where he had a chance to be successful. That speaks volumes about this job. He was also asked what City needed and he said we had to decide which road we are gonna go down, youth, experience? Jeez, he’s only just finished speaking with the owners? Don’t they know what their strategy is? We sound like a complete basket case.

He says we are a good club etc etc but he’d rather miss his first preseason in 33 years, take a chance and hope something crops up. Rather than accept our project?? Just how bad are we?

    Pull together my back side.

No manger, clueless owners and on top of that a team full of Shite players that most wouldn't get into a league 2 team.

Not even a pot to piss in. Oh I can't wait for next season.

Reading this can admin look into another sub forum on the front page headed as 'Chairman Whinges' That way those who wish to continue to moan can do so but others who wish to get on and (try) and move forward can do under the 'City Talk' section.

The comments, however accurate people think they are add nothing to the debate, so if people wish to vent it would be perfect!

I was firmly in the give them a chance camp but I'm starting to sway now there's a big part of me that's worried that we couldn't retain Grayson and the reasons why. If we were going for it next season why not stay it doesn't add up.

With PP I kind of wondered why he wouldn't stay but also could see Bolton being a good job to go to but Grayson isn't in that situation as far as we know.

We are in a worse position than when they took over at least they had 8 solid league one players and a big following now we've a squad of players we don't want, no manager and dwindling support.

Something's not right at the club!

Or perhaps another sub forum headed as 'Our chairmen are doing a fantastic job' for those that think that the sun shines out of Rahic's and Rupps arses. You may have a couple of posters on your thread, enjoy your love in.

That interview was a hard listen. Grayson telling us we are miles away from the championship when it comes to infrastructure. To be fair he's right when he says its not just the mess of the new owners, its been over a number of years. To coin a Rahic phrase, 'Grayson knows his football.' Especially at this level, he knows what it takes to get out of here. If they take anything from Grayson's short spell in charge its that they need to start getting things right or this shitshow could get out of hand very quickly.

But isn't that what they have tried to do by investing in the infrastructure. Unfortunately that has come from the same overall budget so cuts have had to made elsewhere. On the plus side when those things are sorted if we go up we will have the infrastructure that Grayson reckons we need. That doesn't help us now but longer term it does

Now Bruce you're being silly or worryingly serious. There is no 'love in' just a realisation that the constant and continued whinging about the chairman on every platform across social media for the last 5 months, constantly, will go someway to the continuation of the present predicament.

You cannot effect anything with the Rahic & Rupp bashing & will only exasperate the situation (ok not you personally you aren't that important) to any future players/managers who care to delve into the media presence of the club, no amount of PR help the club does can be fixed when the main forums all constantly & continuously find gratification & an almost need to undermine the club (and by club I also mean the owners)

Agreed. Lets hope they really learn from this knockback. Listen to Grayson telling what is needed, and why he's not staying must have been both an eye stinger, and an eye opener. Time to build from the knowledge they've been given.

Until a new manager comes in with HIS own ideas and demands :)

Maybe if the owners had run the club properly there would be no animosity towards them, but no, all we have had is lies and deceit from them so yes i will carry on whinging as you put it, as will many until they either put it right or even better go, and believe me they deserve all the slating they get, apart from the racism thing, egoistic and arrogant is what they are. This is our toy and we don't care who we upset is their policy, so i don't give a shit if they are upset by the whinging.

Starting a thread doesn’t necessarily mean you can dictate which way it will flow. A thread about who is going to be next manager, will prompt painful discussions about why we are in this situation. It is the owners who appoint a manager. Now you may well be ready to move on, and that is good, but the rest of us whether we can effect decisions or not need to have the discussions.
