Well now its all come out lets all be positive even though many buzz off the negative rumours and stupid fake news....
A clean slate,a clean piece of paper to mould a brand new team/squad.
It needed a mass clear out and now we are going to get it like it or lump it.there will be some decisions that many will explode with but like i stated the owners pushed the boat out for simon but obviousl not far enough according to him.
At least 5 very very decent managers (1 in a job all ready)have thrown there hat in to the ring all ready.its going to be exciting and interesting days/week ahead.

I was exceedingly positive however with ever development I find it more difficult to be so. Bear in mind we are now in Year 3 of 'The Plan' which means we should be aiming again to be promoted automatically or have already been there by now. 3 separate managers, all experienced and with contrasting approaches have found it impossible to work under the owners.Players have downed tools in a way I haven't seen at city even when we were in administration.

I was happy to be patient and give them time as I know english football can be a culture shock, especially to run a club. But frankly they're taking the fecking piss now. They need to sit down, have a good hard look at teams like swindon or leyton orient and decide if they want to feck their investment, or be realistic and implement their development plan when we are in a higher league and therefore more likely to make money from a higher standard of player.

Deary me, Edin could literally put a big steaming pile of shit in the dugout, or Colin Todd, and there’d be the usual mob screaming “give it chance”.

I try and stay optimistic but we also have to be realistic about how important this appointment will be. There really isn't much between the teams at the bottom and where we have just finished in the league. Just ask MK Dons who secured a top half finish last season and are now in League Two. Rochdale, Oxford & Walsall finished well clear of relegation last season and flirted with relegation this season.

The theme with three of those clubs is poor managerial appointments. With the fanbase already split, the owners need to deliver a positive appointment and in good time so that we can be competitive in the transfer market.

Been "Happy to be patient" and then getting "fecking" pissed off, after just two years actually contradict themselves

Most of the club's of our size, who are established in the top two divisions, took years of slow but sure improvement, that inevitably had the occasional setback

Just because the board might not meet their three year plan, shouldn't mean they are instantly branded incimpetent

Vincent Tan is now mobbed by his own fans. It shows what happens when businessmen learn from their mistakes

Complete bollocks!!! There’s nothing to be positive about yet. Grayson has gone because the board didn’t buy into what he wanted. Where’s the proof that this will be any different for another manager? Rupp says lessons have been learned, obviously not. We will end up with a manager that is happy to entertain Edin’s antics until he gets fed up or Edin does. Bargain basement recruitment straight out of the pound shop and a relegation scrap is all we’ve got to look forward to. The club is being run by idiots who quite clearly haven’t got a clue what their doing.

As your header says, Now's the time to pull together, well the owners are pulling together.
Pulling our fecking club apart, this will be the third manager in the space of 6 months and yet you want us to pull together for them.
No thanks i have had it with them, they are killing our club, the sooner they go the better for me.

Well said Bruce. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that in the last three years two of the most successful lower league managers have chosen to walk away from our club. Why? There is something deeply wrong with our football club.

So what is the plan if it isn’t promotion within three years then? Empty apologies is all I have heard weeks of negotiations with a manager who either didn’t want stay or stay with the owners. So now we have been told, we have to shut up and trust them, because they have the club’s interests at heart? So far the only thing they have stuck to is the youth development squad, and other backroom changes. Rupp said he didn’t believe you should be hiring and firing managers all the time that wasn’t how business works, so three managers have gone since they got here. I can work with plans, but not ones that change all the time.

stop gassing people up saying we're going for autos then, simple as that. If they said they wanted to build long term but to expect promotion in 5 rather than 3 years, that would be fine. but as it stands we got to january with edin saying we could hit top 2 and he would back stuart, neither of which actually happened. they then appointed a manager who whilst his record is great at League one level, was in terms of style the most diametrically opposed to 'The Plan' that they could have found which suggested they panicked and abandoned theirown philosophy. can you now see why I'm running out of patience?

No manager. Half the squad out of contract. The other half shit. Head of recruitment on sick leave and COO going to Plymouth. STs 30% down and no money for signings. Leading goalscorer pissed off with bonus payments and owners wanting wage bill cuts. Pitch up shit creek and no sign new kits on sale for fans to buy and promote over the summer. Fans alientated by bullshitters in the boardroom. City the next Leyton Orient?

It’s absolute shite. Anyone with half a brain cell knows that you simply can’t get promoted if you’re spending a chunk of an already meagre budget on a development squad and other stuff. That’s why nobody else does it and it’s why PP told Lawn and Rhodes to get rid of the last development squad as soon as he arrived.

On top of that you've got them wanting to pay players incentivised pay and you’ve got Rahic thinking he’s infallible and treating everyone like shit.

Until everyone wakes up to what’s going on and demands change rather than more broken promises about having learnt lessons then nothing will improve. What are they going to change and do differently? Nothing it seems, just more PR because they need to sell STs.

The fact that the owners are still banging on about promotion without putting all their available resources towards it is totally unrealistic and is what makes the fans feel lied to.
