I'm genuinely not sure. I've attended fewer home games this season for a number of reasons, work, train strikes, poor entertainment etc. Also those who've sat around me have also stayed away, so the times I've been it's not had the same buzz as years gone by. I want entertainment, I'd like to see us win and win with the authority of a good team, as GA spoke about in his first press conference. I want to see signs that the club are planning for the next 5 years and beyond, not the next 12 months. As it stands I can't see us making the play offs. There'll be another mass turnover of players and another period of bedding in. Oh the joys of being a city fan.

Me and the wife had this conversation last week and we both at the minute aren't too bothered about going again next season. We will likely renew because it's a habit, but it's not fun at City anymore. The atmosphere in VP has been dross for a little while now. Football hasn't been great for some time either. Catching up with pals at HT or pre-game is more enjoyable than anything on the pitch these days. I think I've opted to not go to more games so far this season than ever before at this point in the calendar. Last weekend I decided to stay home, the wife had some friends coming round to see our puppy and sitting in the front room with the game on the TV, making brews and watching my dog be a tornado puppy for an hour or two seemed far more interesting than witnessing GAs first game in person.

I simply don't know, like many before I just want to be entertained and have made so many plans , involving City home games

My next planned home game is Morecambe at home on boxing Day, some 66 days from my last game at home to Wrexham. I've already made the decision not to go to away games .

At least the supporters board have got their finger on the pulse

Zumba at HT,space invader machines and pool tables on the concourses seem to be high on the worry list of most fans on here.

Never mind the trivial stuff like hardcore genuine home and away supporting fans questioning whether they’ll get a season ticket for next year.

I started taking my grandson the season Stuart came back as manager, through the Jacko days, then Parky's first season and believe it or not he got me attending away games which I'd got out of the habit of going, I hope she loves it mate as much as my grandson, he's had to put up with the rubbish we've all been through in our times of watching the lads but they can never take away the Wigans, Arsenals, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Northampton at Wembley, even the expectation we could get a result at Wembley against Swansea great times together you wont regret it.

Bradford City and management need to understand the club can’t be just dependent on us fans. The club needs to start doing more themselves.

Fans just sit back and do nothing. A club on hope but it’s the hope that kills you and wouldn’t be shocked if a lot of fans stop going next season.

    I've said no.

Only because I'm bored of the decision making and the piss poor players we keep signing and the same s*** repeating itself year after year.

This season I bought my youngest his first season ticket... Even he's bored.

The apathy was in the stands too. Was weird. Maybe the first minute goal just killed the mood, but it was a very bizarre atmosphere for a first game for a new manager in charge.

im not sure if its because the recruitment was so protracted? Or is it because the consensus seems to be that we ultimately need Rupp out before we can ultimately move forward as a club, and no matter how many times we replace the manager, the problem lies deeper?

on paper GA is a good appointment but it just seems whatever happens at the moment, we’re probably stuck in L2 for ANOTHER year and we’re feeling a bit lost.

It feels like the heart has been ripped out of the club tbh.

The cloud over this club isn't going to be healed with a new manager. Apart from Motherwell, he has always been at a club with backing too. Fleetwood were spending to rise when he was there, same with Scunthorpe, think he left as the wheels came off. Same with Salford, largest budgets around in NL & L2 and MK will have been a good budget with a lot of L1 players already at his disposal. I don't know how long the self sufficient model will work for Alexander, when during his career he's always had some spare cash to search the market with. Got a feeling he'll either make it work and be another PP type with a promotion inside 2 seasons, or he'll think it's not worth it and go in the summer.

I think a good portion of the fanbase have already written this season off, but on the same hand don't have any faith in the recruitment for next season. We're a club without an identity again and I don't see that changing anytime soon unless the owner packs up or we actually dish out a plan of action, recruit to marry the model and have a proper setup on deck.

Then I am definitely not renewing hahah!!!

Il be there thick and thin and thinner…but I imagine they’ll be a large percentage not represented on this forum that won’t. That’s why our model of self sustainability worries me.

Can't vote as didn't renew this year. And nothing is currently suggesting next year will change this and want me to get a ST again

For once I’ll agree with your last comment, I dismissed it last year as it was obvious there were reasons why despite quite boring football the numbers wouldn’t drop off. Since we’ve been relegated we’ve had a number of ‘novelty’ factors to keep the numbers fantastically high:

. First season relegated in 2019/20, natural to expect the club to be fighting for a title and no matter what division that is more appealing than fighting relegation in the league above.

. Second season in 2021/22, it speaks for itself after Covid people were desperate for things to do and as we’d not been to a live game in 18 months or sold itself. Adams was also highly regarded and there was plenty of talk about 100 points etc.

. Third season in 2022/23, the Mark Hughes had come to manage us and the early signs were promising. I think that novelty speaks for itself.

. The current season, it was smart to advertise and sell them when Sparks did. The deadline was before the end of the season and there was still a good chance of automatic promotion or failing that a promotion through the playoffs. £200 for league 1 football why not?

So what about next season if we end bottom half? A year of regression and 6 seasons stuck in the league again, more promises fans will no longer believe. What’s the novelty and USP this time Mr Sparks? I’d wager any bet that if we end 13th or below there’s a minimum 10% drop and that’s me being optimistically cautious. I could see the been more like 20-30% which is crippling in any business.

See, this is the thing and maybe you are highlighting it. The club are treating the fans as mugs. It’s going backwards and the has no intention of going forward in anyway shape or form.

It counts on the fans to just turn up and accept.Maybe, it’s time for fans not to go.

We’ve an owner that’s given up and CEO that doesn’t know what he’s doing or can’t admit he needs support. Fans are just wasting money including myself. Enough might be enough!

A large percentage of this forum is how many? Probably not a lot, even the usual posting team are indicating they are going.
