One of the richest economies in the world has the equivalent of Frank Spencer at the captain's chair. The football equivalent is when Edin put Collins, Drury and Abbott in charge of us. Unbelievable Jeff.

Kwasi Kwarteng has gone quicker than a Watford manager. Second shortest time in office, the person in first died of a heart attack 30 days into the job. So this is on incompetence alone.

The PM signed off this budget however, Kwasi is just the one thrown under the bus.

    What a shitshow.

I saw Penny Mordaunt tear the SNP one the other day, why the hell did they end up with Truss.

Yes Japan is having a difficult time. So lets use the UK’s own statistical figures to compare the UK with other economies in the World.

    upload_2022-10-14_15-9-15.png

The poorest performing country is the UK!

Yet people think this set of clowns are the party of economic competence!

Yes, we will but that’s the systems fault.

Me, you and plenty of others will call our doctors. Our doctors will say no appointments or call before 8am in the hope of getting in today. You call around 8am and it’s no we are full. Next appointment is in 2-4 weeks time.

So, if you go down to A & E wait 6-8 hours you get seen then get what you need.

In other countries worse off than ours the doctors are open 8-8 every day. Yes, on a Sunday. You also have plenty of walk in centres. Granted you might have to pay to see a doctor but this is why the NHS system is outdated now. The UK is too full. It can’t run like it did in the 40’s.

Things need to change and fast.

Blame the system not the people who beat it!

This is a shambles. Whether you agree with her policies or not having a whole leadership campaign for the winner to promise one thing, only for 4 weeks later to be forced to appoint the guy who came DEAD LAST in the leadership race to implement his completely different vision. Its not right and can't be sustained.

On a wider point its worrying that effectively the media and the markets are dictating policy.

We might as well just continually have a Labour government because nothing else but more spending and more taxation (of other people of course silly!!) is going to be acceptable. Trying to do anything else is pointless.

Not perpetually raising taxes - in fact wanting to see several taxes return to the level they were in the "glory days" of Tony Blair - is now a far right ideology. Did you not know?

Still following discredited Friedmanite 'trickle down' economics is now purely right wing cult stuff. Cutting taxes for the rich in the delusional belief (against all empirical evidence of the last 40 years) that this will 'incentivise' investment, entrepreneurs and create economic growth, is a policy only advocated by the loopy libertarian right. The (hardly left wing) global markets recognised that Truss's 'dash for growth' was based on magical thinking and reacted accordingly. No one outside the 'Britannia Unchained' sect of ultra free market zealots would have attempted to foist that kamikaze mini budget on us, nor even wanted to. And there are still right wing think tankers writing articles in The Telegraph sticking up for it as the right thing to have attempted, even as they watch their lifelong economic convictions vaporise in front of their eyes. Poor souls.

The whole affair has reminded politicians that the super rich are the real ones in charge of the country and they are only allowed to play with the train set if the follow the rules the market and the super rich dictate.

The problems of debt are of the Tories own making, They claim every excuse going but the simple fact is they have borrowed on average £150 Billion every year in power and still wanted to borrow more to help rich friends and backers
