Seems like a bright manager to me. He has them playing good football. Someone we should be going after instead of the usual dross what appear on betting lists. Campbell and Woodgate can f***off what have they done in management. Woodgate looked way out of his depth and the Boro team were playing garbage what I saw of them.

If we did fancy Michael Flynn and he liked the idea of coming to Valley parade I don't think paying compensation is poaching as long as we go through the correct channels as Sheffield United & Blackpool did with us with regards Phil Parkinson, the way he's has performed at Newport his hometown club reminds me of what Parky did for us to a lesser degree.

Like someone posted earlier, Aidy Boothroyd would be a good shout.

He looks to have a great job with the England U21s would he want to come to City even though he's a Bradford lad, I think we'd have to approach him as I couldn't see him applying, you never know if you don't ask I suppose.

Campbell’s success outshines McCall by miles! He was a stalwart at Arsenals invinceables. Different sort of Leader to McCall mind.
At two clubs in really bad situations at the time! Stevie G and Frank Lampard played well on the field and have transferred to managerial. I wouldn’t personally go for Campbell but come on if McCall wasn’t a club legend would we have touched him with a barge pole? If it is Campbell id back the boards decision.

Bronco i live 18 miles from Newport , and was there Saturday. He's held in high regard , understandably , but this would be a whole new challenge , as we all know. Here's hoping tho

Still living down south I think so can't see him wanting to come back up north when he's probably on more money than what we could offer.

And we need to aim higher. 1.23 points would get us up to 59. Not good enough. He's not good enough. Can we move on and strike him off alongside woodgate

I honestly don’t think you know what you’re on about. You do know different managers have different win rates at every club they go to don’t you? Campbell wouldn’t come here and only get us 1.23 points because that’s what he got at Macc. Although it’s better than what’s been severed up for the past 6 games.

this has to be tosh, the guy doesn't want to be a head coach and we are bringing in a "Recruitment Consultant" Never mind the silly dog botherers sacking him in the championship. Much like Parky he can walk any L1 club.

    Waddle - Burnley
    Gray/ Clarke - Leeds

The list could go on. Didn't Stiles try his hand ? Alan Ball was hardly a roaring success, Dont think Peters or Hunt ever went there. In fact the only one of our world Cup winners to be a true success at the management lark was Big Jack.
