Personally I want KMc , three wins and a draw so far, nice football, engaged players and supporters . I worry if somebody new comes in and fecks up the momentum?

 

If the new guy comes in and starts doing that, then the blame lies firmly on RS's door...as he should have stipulated in the interview what MH did wrong and McD did right, and how it was approved by the fans. As mentioned by many posters, the new manager coming in, has to play to the way the fans want, not the way he (100%) wants. It's been tried far too often, with MH being the latest to come in with a bull attitude and being shown the door because of it.

 

I imagine the same thought will be going through McDonald’s head too.

I think McDonald is coming around to the idea of staying on as manager. Anyway, as long as it's not the Cowleys, I can't stomach their football. It's horrible, long-ball rubbish from 1982. Aside from non-league, they have the back-to-back promotions with Lincoln but that was a stoneage ago. I'd be very disappointed if they were hired

 

You seem to be as deluded as the Facebook Bradford City loyalists. Nathan Jones is not going to manage a League Two side at this stage in his career. Get real

If you listen very carefully he has not said anything of the sort. “I would like to keep on playing” is not “ I don’t want the managers job” , any more than “I want to win the lottery next week” . It’s all on the words. Even others have said during interviews he’s slightly changing his wording. “I would like to carry on playing for as long as possible” again, is NOT a denial.
One phrase he used last week I think it was, The agreement will remain as it is, until decided otherwise” .

The bookmakers love a new manager market. The prices virtually never mean anything. A rare exception was Mike Williamson who was 1/6 within hours of Alexander's sacking so there was some fire to go with the smoke.
Obviously I hope anyone who has put money on the Cowleys getting the job will be collecting their winnings very soon.

 

Sadly you're right. It used to be a new manager got at least a few months before being questioned. Now it's from the first match.
