Nolan is atrocious.

 

Bloody fast down that wing. Dunno what his crossing is like tho.

 

The biggest problem we had under Bowyer was a negative manager with a dire style of play that did not get the best out of the attacking players at the club.

So why on earth would we hire a carbon copy in Nolan?

 

Some say I am negative.

He would be fine.. got to give young managers a chance and they learn like Wellens.

Open your mind.. be free! It would be a good appointment.

However, think McCall will get it if he can work with Rupp.

 

Why would he be a good appointment? Everything we've slated Bowyer for is the same with nolan.

Some people just need to let go.

Managers can learn.. he fits the bill for me..got an excellent player network,knows league 2, can relate to players, connections with the likes of West Ham, Liverpool, Ranagers, managers who he can call to help him..taken time out of the game to study more about it. Young and can work with Rupp, Rhodes, Sparks and any other management team plus he's a high profile name.

He has to be taken into consideration considering where the club is at.

 

Gotta be Warnock until the summer.

Short term gig that gets him his 12 games for the 1500 mark. He's reasonably local, no long term commitment needed on his part, not too much stress really. We have a squad that's geared up for long term football and even with 1 or 2 deficiencies, theres enough in this squad to give him a chance of promotion. All goes well and maybe he'd fancy another year. He might prefer to wait for a higher league opportunity but he's 71 so you never know what's round the corner. As a short term commitment it would surely suit everyone.

 

he lives in Cornwall, hardly local. really want a manager who only wants to get another few games so he can reach a milestone? hardly going to have Bradford City at the forefront of his mind as he doesn't have anything else riding on it.

Yeah, I'd take him. He's a driven, natural born winner. How many promotions has he had? Might he about the record for him but I think he'd want to deliver too. Could be his last ever gig, why not go out on a promotion? He'd get this lot into shape quickly. That's what we need if we go down the short term route - a quick response.

Alternative is to appoint someone for the longer term now and accept that the season might be about no more than laying the foundations for next

 

This appointment has got to be the right one no matter who it is, we needs someone to come in and make an impression straight away, not forgetting getting as many as possible renewing next season.

He played well for us mate, but I never felt he was a Hammer. Nice enough bloke socially, but never really "connected" with the fans
