From what I'm told it's almost certain that Doyle will be staying.. His family have just had a hell of a lot to deal with in recent weeks which I won't go into, none of which is football related and he's just taking some time out to spend with his family. Once back from his holiday I expect everything will be sorted.

 

Yes I'd heard about his young son, but as I posted he had not accepted City's offer so when @Foghornleghorn posted that I thought he might be gone.

Well Doyle's wife Rebecca has been tweeting about all the issues faced by the family, so she seems happy enough to share their problems. Sometimes doing that helps.

I wouldn't worry about it if I were you ? Clearly they're not ! Anyway who have we signed non of them likely to be first XI regulars more a bunch of development players we'll probably never see ?

How dare anyone be concerned about having a managerless club, placing faith in a joint owner that thinks he knows football more than someone like simon grayson? There was no real upturn at the end of last season, folk can dress it up how they like but we have a big job on next season, i'll be amazed if we are anywhere near challenging the top 6. More likely we'll be looking over our shoulder. Hope i am wrong.

Totally agree. I have a feeling whoever is coming in is absolutely aligned on this weeks signings at least and is already planning for the forthcoming season.

Ironically, I’m not concerned about the process of this new Head Coach recruitment. It hasn’t impacted our recruitment (that we’re aware of) and therefore it seems the club are very much focussed on the job in hand for the new season.

What’s also clear is, that we as fans, don’t have a scooby what’s going on, and I kind of like it!
