    Not fussed about Doyle leaving, as long as we have replacements already on board and we dont have same scenario as last couple of windows, where we are struggling to bring in strikers, leaving us woefully short of options up front again.

    As for Vaughan, never been convinced that he was bound for us anyhow

    Personally I'd prefer Doyle to stay than Vaughan join. Just have a feeling that Doyle will do it this season in L2 especially with a unit like Donaldson up top with him. Vaughan strikes me of a bit more of a mercenary, will play for the highest offer. That being the case if Tranmere or Blackpool are in for him then we're out of the running. TCA seem to think Vaughan is to be unveiled tomorrow and will train with us for the first time. I cant see it, yet only 24 hours to wait. If he does join that must mean Doyle is on his way

    All this talk of forwards meanwhile the midfield is weak as piss. You can have all the forwards you want but a piss poor midfield means it doesn’t matter.

    Nixon just tweeted to say it is us and Tranmere in for Vaughan, he tweeted Blackpool by accident. I'm still confident of him being announced at training tomorrow.

    Tranmere seems ideal for him with him being at Everton in his early days. Plus league one football. Think we’ve been played by his agent to get him a better deal elsewhere.

    Let’s wait and see I suppose. If we don’t get Vaughan I hope we keep Doyle

    Agree if Doyle is allowed to leave and Vaughan is not coming in I hope Bowyer has identified targets 2/3/4, maybe we were getting ahead of ourselves looking at it logically it might have been a situation of the big earners leaving to make way for the Vaughan & co.
