    Just how on earth can neither the FA or EFL know if any rules would be broken if he played for us. Thats just ridiculous

    Currently training at Cardiff, still looking for a club after moves to clubs in Holland and Cyprus fell through.

    I suspect, even though out of work, his wage demands have put many off

    If we cannot afford Callum Cookes full wages, you can rule out signing anyone of Ledleys quality and pedigree

    The notion we can just sign somone of any quality now and for them to improve our squad is ridiculous. We have injuries and we will have to cope. Just like every other club.

    As I said in a post on the Port Vale match thread, either he is registered as a player with Barrow or he isn't. It shouldn't be difficult to tell us. I think it is pretty clear he is registered with Barrow and City overlooked it.

    Think Taylor thought his outing at Barrow was as a "trialist" as
    he hadn't signed any contract or deal. He was a free agent and
    after playing for Barrow he was still a free agent so don't know
    what the problem is now.

    I’m not sure it’s a case of they don’t know, I suspect it actually may be a case of them putting the onus on City to interpret the rules correctly, rather than being prepared to provide categorical ‘pre-event’ advice. Suspect as a rule they won’t provide advice to clubs in that way.
