I'm not sure it's because i've had a glass or two of a nice Bordeaux, but reading the last few threads, i can't seem to find a single thread where you've posted any kind of positive reply. I may have overlooked something but my overall impression is that you simply have nothing nice to say about we're being run as a club. Everyone is aware of how awful things have developed over the last 24 months but everyone except you and the odd insignificant other couple of posters on here see their glass as half full. Four games in, 2nd in the table, one goal conceded, unbeaten and new signings performing well, what more could we possibly ask for? I for one see a bright future.

We're on a back to back winning run
We're 2nd in the league

And you think we should be scared or change formation because of them? Wow!!!

 

Not a chance Vaughan is without doubt the man we need as Captain he brings such enthusiasam to our team a bit over zealous at times but rather a Captain who leads by example.

 

Bowyer will be very happy with this loan capture.
He's been after getting Cooke in the building for months.
Hope he repays Gary's faith with some solid performances.

In fairness he also brings energy and desire which is presumably why he's getting the nod over Anderson and Akpan.

Good signing for this level, if he proclaims to be an attacking midfielder, can't help feeling we needed a holding midfielder more though.

 

Perhaps the problem is Palmer, Akpan, Devine all seem to like to occupy the same 15m2 piece of the pitch so having someone different might just work well.

Yes it was good to see him and Devitt actually receiving the ball and then turning towards the oppo goal to see what pass they could make.

Akpan and Devine take note.

 

Akpan and devine were piss poor today. Devine rightly hooked at HT and Akpan lucky to play 90 minutes because he was fecking abysmal as usual. The balance of that midfield was awful today, 3 defensive players at home, none of whom can pass a ball forwards. Cooke and devitt have to start next week if only not to see shite like akpan and devine again.

 

Attacking midfielder, as mentioned.

He certainly chips in with his fair share of goals and assists.

To be fair we were in desperate need of creativity from midfield. Maybe Palmer will sit deeper. He seems decent with the ball at his feet.

 

Him and Devitt could be the two ugliest signings made back to back if that one comes off.
