It's not about the money mate it's about the point.

Liverpool could have stayed at Melwood but no as a club they want to improve. Bradford City get a new players tunnel and it's like wow look at us!

Well maybe Bradford City needs an owner without Rhodes involved and not having Ryan Sparks as CEO as that would be a joke then the brakes might come off and we will see some development.

I could't careless if we had a new training ground with JCT600 and their cars in on display.

I get div 2 clubs won't spend money on trainings grounds now but this club seems to have no vision for the future on or off the pitch.

Do you reckon there could be a market for a 'City Claret & Amber cushion' ?

It is the seat back that digs in and the rows set to near to each other, You cannot sit with your knees straight you have to sit with them turned one way or the other, The seats themselves are narrower than the ones they replaced leaving a gap at the end of each row

Of course it’s about money, this season more than ever. The seats and tunnel are probably paid for by the sponsorship and flogging old kit on eBay. For almost all lower league clubs this season is about surviving with little or no real income. The PL don’t really miss the gate receipts, we do.

Stuart hasn’t spent all the salary cap and the story allegedly goes Rupp was willing to put more money in in the summer but was supposedly told it wasn’t necessary.

Yes there’s no future vision, we all know that, many of us think there won’t be until Rhodes goes but a few hundred seats and a tunnel isn’t worth getting your knickers in twist over. The club are shouting about it because people have sponsored them to shout about it. Sparks seems to be doing what he’s paid to, bring money in, it would be a brave or foolish man to put him in charge of the club in really difficult times like these and I don’t see Rupp doing that.

When this season finishes the big earners and the dross are gone, Rhodes, possibly the manager too. You can’t compare Liverpool to City.
Off the the field City need to get the support in for the first team, but Sparks and Watson aren’t responsible for that and seem to be doing ok, you can’t knock them for that.

That's not amber, it's orange. Amber is a deep yellow. We never get a true claret either. We haven't had our true colours for ages. The worst were when we were in the Premiership.

You make some good points reserve judgement on the tunnel (less fuss over the Chanel tunnel) it's hardly something to crow about and sponsors wouldn't have had to dig too deep I see it as a way for Mr Sparks to ingratiate himself to the fans (by doing his job !!!)
If rumours are true that Mr Rupp offered to plough more money in for team strengthening only to be told it's not needed he should be absolutely raging at our league position and comments of don't expect much more than a mid table finish I suspect that decision came from "higher up" than Stuart to be honest this is the weakest L2 for many a year and an extremely good chance to get out of it has been wasted
As for the next CEO I don't think Mr Rupp will have much input it will be all left to Mr Rhodes and that doesn't in my opinion bode well

Well I think Sparks is doing fantastically to get Chanel to sponsor the tunnel, wonder how it smells.

If there was money offered, and it was said it wasn't needed (who is higher up than Stuart you refer to - Rhodes?), then I'd say our league position is a sackable offence for those who said no. Clearly a bad decision was made. The only redeeming thing about this season up til January, is that IF there is money to spend, then it should be spent as soon as the transfer window opens. Players should already have been scouted, and McCall ready - with whoever higher up said "No" helping him get those names signed on the dotted line.
Unfortunately when it comes to City, these days I don't believe anything, and I honestly think that "they" hope us fans forget what has been said/promisted/projected or however you want to spin it.
I expect an underwhelming January transfer market as always.

Well below is a professional colourway showing different shades. I personally think of the Amber five down on the right column.

Below is a screen shot of the seats. Not sure that they look like either Amber. Personally I like the Gold and Fire.
