Hi Roger. Are you referring to my post asking if anyone else thought they looked orange? Three things on that:
1 - It was a question as I don't pretend that everyone else sees things the same way as me
2 - I noted that it wasn't important. I agree that replacing them was important and that part was unsaid by me but, I'd hoped, implied.
3 - Why so touchy? Surely feedback on aesthetical things is expected and, indeed, needed before pressing ahead with such projects? In my working life, for example, I've never seen a piece of marketing that wasn't signed-off first by several people. We have a brand and heritage at City and a big part of that is our club colours.
That's my take on things anyway. Well done to those involved in the club at not only keeping the plates spinning but growing the off-field commercial activities during this time.

Not touchy at all, Crosby. Merely surprised that an apparent conclusion was reached viewing a very small number of seats on view in the picture. Additionally these seats are new and are bound to be a richer, deeper shade than the sun bleached ones in the next block shown on the picture. Thanks for your other comments, I'm sure Ryan and team appreciate their efforts being noted.

That would be nice Keefly not sure if you could enter by the Holywell Ash Lane gates. Just thinking about it should vehicles be able to enter the stadium by the gates and tunnel maybe in emergency. Oh and police horses if K Block and Charlie invade the pitch.

Off Subject Interested Bystander I am reading Mrs Rockets book by Richard Osman “ The Thursday MURDER Club “ I have a new hero Big Ron a Hammers fan you maybe know him.

Reckon you’d have to careful closing the gates. Bang them too hard and I think the tunnel will fall down.
My lads make dens with duvets and cushions that look more structurally sound than the tunnel.

It's in my yet to read pile, always like to have a few lined up. Osman is fairly local to us (though a Fulham fan). I know a few Rons from the old days, including my grandfather who I blame for introducing me to over 60 years of disappointing Saturdays, with an occasional highlight thrown in

Don’t worry Campbell’s I’m a pensioner working in the repair shop today, may have a walk down Holywell Ash Lane tomorrow and investigate. I have a Construction Site Visitors badge CSCS.
Anyway pensioners can do what they like. Shame Bibbys is shut maybe Russian Club will be open.

No problem Roger and thanks for the reply. Just to note that a question isn't a conclusion! Genuinely, to me they look orange, not amber, but I know we don't all see colours the same way (ask my wife when she's choosing paint for the house!). From feedback on here and Twitter it looks like most people they see them as amber which is great as that was my concern: that we were not using the club colours. I'm certainly not naive enough to believe I'm right all the time, unlike some folk on here (not you!).

Funny isn't it that a club that sits 16th in Division 2, doesn't own it's stadium or training club and we are praising someone about a bloody players tunnel that looks like something like an entrance to ghost ride at Blackpool pleasure beach.

Meanwhile had the home of the Champions of England. They build a new training ground for 50m but could have stayed at Melwood.

    https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/training-ground/415814-liverpool-fc-axa-training-centre-photos-tour

It's amazing how much this club stands still and gets left behind. Ryan is just doing his job. Yes, it's get we have a new tunnel but bloody hell lets not make out he's great.

It's time now for this club to get serious. Rhodes urgently needs to bloody leave and Rupp needs to decide if he wants to take this club forward or sell the thing but fans are not go to jump up and down because we have an improved bloody tunnel.

The club is a failure..Nowhere near where it should be on and off the pitch!

Come on Fordy that’s a poor effort even by your standards, FSG are worth billions, Liverpool themselves had an EBIT of 40 odd million on a half billion turnover, it’s a different league literally and metaphorically. I’m no fan of Rupp and Rhodes; once needs to shit or get off the pot and the other needs to go, but Flamingo Land pension fund isn’t selling the ground and League two clubs aren’t spending millions on training grounds right now. That’s a pipe dream.

Some quality scouting, training and sports science investment is what’s needed to escape league two. I doubt a few seats and a bit of MDF have bust the bank.

I don’t think we have paid for the seats or the tunnel. I think we have done deals with local sponsors etc
