You make some good points reserve judgement on the tunnel (less fuss over the Chanel tunnel) it's hardly something to crow about and sponsors wouldn't have had to dig too deep I see it as a way for Mr Sparks to ingratiate himself to the fans (by doing his job !!!)
If rumours are true that Mr Rupp offered to plough more money in for team strengthening only to be told it's not needed he should be absolutely raging at our league position and comments of don't expect much more than a mid table finish I suspect that decision came from "higher up" than Stuart to be honest this is the weakest L2 for many a year and an extremely good chance to get out of it has been wasted
As for the next CEO I don't think Mr Rupp will have much input it will be all left to Mr Rhodes and that doesn't in my opinion bode well

Well I think Sparks is doing fantastically to get Chanel to sponsor the tunnel, wonder how it smells.

If there was money offered, and it was said it wasn't needed (who is higher up than Stuart you refer to - Rhodes?), then I'd say our league position is a sackable offence for those who said no. Clearly a bad decision was made. The only redeeming thing about this season up til January, is that IF there is money to spend, then it should be spent as soon as the transfer window opens. Players should already have been scouted, and McCall ready - with whoever higher up said "No" helping him get those names signed on the dotted line.
Unfortunately when it comes to City, these days I don't believe anything, and I honestly think that "they" hope us fans forget what has been said/promisted/projected or however you want to spin it.
I expect an underwhelming January transfer market as always.

A quick trawl came up with this statement, ‘There is a possibility to order the seats together with the assembly, we also give assembly instructions with drawings and guidelines. Each version can be made in any colour RAL’.

The introduction information includes, ‘The stadium seats we offer meet all the FIFA, UEFA, PZPN and PZP demands that are in force for this type of products, what is more, they have many usable features such as:
    - ergonomic shapes that guarantee fully comfortable relaxation
    - resistance to the influence of weather conditions (unchangeable strength and physical and chemical features in the range of temp. -30C +80C)
    - very high mechanical strength achieved due to special construction and raw materials used for production
    - easiness of assembly, straight to the concrete surface or other constructions
    - resistance to discolouring caused by sunlight (stabilised UV)
    - incombustibility’

As in print, the club should specify a Pantone colour ensuring consistency. I know Lloyds bank have their own specific colours and we could too. That way kit, scarfs, leisurewear, seats would all look the same.

The problem is for a lower league club like ours is that the big kit manufacturers won't supply to a particular pantone. We just don't sell enough to make it worth their while. We're not a Liverpool or Man U. The likes of Nike, Kappa and so on will only supply kit in their standard colours to 'small' clubs which are at best an approximation to the club colours. In our case, that can be very noticeable. When Nike were our suppliers 'claret' was Varsity Red or Team Red and 'amber' was Varsity Gold from the Nike standard palette. If you see a collection of City shirts, it's easy to see how little consistency of tone there is between them.

The choice of words wasn’t incorrect . They selected the colour fire from a Colour chart .

Calm down? You're the one who tried to start a pile on because someone mentioned the word fire. Glad nobody else is on your wavelength. Reflect on that (pal).

Is it? In what way? No one has been offensive and as far as I can tell it's a reasoned debate and only slightly off topic.

If you don't want to read it that's fine, just don't click on it but to refer to it as kindergarten stuff and demanding threads be locked simply on your opinion is baffling.

One of the things that has struck me, is what I feel is poor communication from the club. There is nothing on the official website, about the players tunnel and I cannot recall an article in the T&A, or it being mentioned in a WOAP article.

Whatever the merits of the player tunnel and the colour of the new seats, the fact that there are improvements taking place, is to be applauded.

I think most of us feel that new dugouts are necessary.

@wetherbywhaler@wetherbywhaler referred to the excellent condition of the pitch, again something I agree about.

For goodness sake, why can’t the club send out press releases, use its own website?

Just waiting for news about dramatic improvements to the toilets, especially in the lower blocks of the Main Stand!

It was mentioned at the very bottom of an article announcing the sponsorship with that blind company. But yes I agree, no mention of it since and no mention at all of the dugouts. Not even a brief artist sketch to show what all of this might look like. Considering none of us can actually go down to VP to look anytime soon, small things like that would be appreciated. Think there was a line by Parker saying the tunnel will be done for the Oldham game and @Idlebantam@Idlebantam mentioned on here when the dugouts will be done - nothing from the club on either. And then some wonder why there's no praise going the clubs way. Well, we can't praise what we know nothing/little about.

Thanks Shoatsy. Haven't seen much comment from the MDF Moaners Club. Come on guys it's a miserable Sunday morning, surely not too hard to add to Shoaty's shaft of sunlight. Only joking.
