We might well be tinpot in some areas but the kits (barring the relegation season) have generally been worth buying.

The keeper kits of the 90’s were things of beauty.

Well I bet it doesn't countdown from 45 minutes to zero, then automatically count up time added on. At £17.95 mine does. ;)

Or you could raffle it on here...might make enough for BRE's legal fees. If not a new splint for Billy's wrist

A good watch is an investment. I splurged on an Omega Speedmaster, and a Bell & Ross BR01-92. A friend of mine asked why I wear a watch, calling me old fashioned. I said it's a statement, not an accessory.

Armani. Well - have a look at this. Seems some Bradford boys are on their way to being the "next big thing". They are wearing Armani (or a branch of it anyway). Funny how these chavs have ruined decent clothing. Back in the day, my mother worked in a menswear shop, and I was lucky enough to be given Barbour, Lyle&Scott, Burberry, Aquascutum etc. Now these brands are synonymous with football hooligans. I really like Stone Island clothing, which I purchase in Italy - but now I'm hesitant to wear it due to it's tarnished image.

Here's this video documentary of Bradford finest. Apologies in advance.

I just dont get this spending huge sums on a watch.A friend of mine spent £10 grand on an Omega watch, which does not tell the time any better than my £10 Casio watch from Amazon.

I'm loving the new kit this season. Absolutely loving it!

Can't wait to get my hands on it! I got the Orange Kit last season so I've definitely been missing the Claret and Amber ahaha! :D

The speedmaster is a great watch, i considered getting one myself.
With the economy the way it is, i'd rather put my money into a good watch that will appreciate over time, as opposed to sat in some savings account gaining 0.01% interest. Which is negative yield when you factor in inflation.
The list price on Rolexes, for instance, have shot up over the last few years. Some models have multi year waiting lists and sell for a premium on the grey market.

Never really been into designer labels tbh. This seasons 'must have' is just next seasons TK maxx fodder.
Most of it is overpriced tat anyway.
I did pick up a couple of Ted Baker polos in the recent sale though.
Mercifully, it's one of the few 'labels' that haven't been embraced by chavs as yet.

A man of taste. I say hello sir!

What do you want to know about watches? I have rolex, IWC, Tag watches. Building a right collection.

You're correct less than 2 -3 years ago a rolex was around 5k and now lucky to get a decent one for 7k.

Watches are a great investment. It's not about being designer(even though I am). It's about working hard and rewarding yourself.

Spending £50-70 on a football top is a waste of money in my eyes but that's me.

I think you're missing the point somewhat.
A fine watch is more a piece of jewellery than a 'tool' to tell the time.
I use a casio for work, simply because it is more practical, more accurate and i don't have to worry about damaging it.
