    It's nice. I used to wear an Oris Big Crown as my everyday watch (when I was giving the Casio a break), because it's also understated. I broke up with my ex, and a few weeks later, asked her where the watch was, to which she replied that she threw it out because she thought it was some old junk of her grandmothers! I'm sure I saw her in a new pair of shoes a few days later.

    Yep the Oris Big Crown is a nice watch.
    Different shape, but I had an Oris for years. It was my every day wear watch. Finally it died having been serviced a few times. The case which was gold had scratched, but it was the actual glass which had become marked, which was too much to replace.

    I now have a Longines La Grande Classique, which is on my wrist now. I wear this most days and have a couple of other watches which I save for when I am going somewhere nice.

    It's funny, because I was in a situation last week with my mates, who said that they think watches are old fashioned, and what's the point as "phones tell the time". For me, a watch is a nice accessory, and also a bit of history and tradition on my wrist.
