    I always rated Maik Taylor when he was playing, great keeper. hope he's as good at coaching!

    Mike, and believe Birmingham and Fulham. And although he's German, played for the Irish national team.

    Great appointment, if he's as good a coach as player then O'Donnell will be getting scouted by Madrid next!....

    Okay, maybe not, but he was a solid keeper, who can only be a benefit with his experience

    It does raise the question as to why we didn’t have one for so long yet now feel the need with only eleven games left. Its a welcome appointment but why was Hopkin without one for so long?
