I heard it was 10m also but come on 10m? Rupp has done nothing to improve the club to increase the value of it.

Open negotiation at what offer though as he isn't getting close to 10m.

 

You should know as an astute business man that you always over value something and negotiate from there just as the seller throws in a low ball offer. If the buyers are legitimate and see a value then a realistic price will be agreed, that is if the buyer has a need to sell.

 

Where has this £10m figure come from? Some months ago @wetherbywhaler mentioned it as the figure required in his opinion, to buy the club AND provide sufficient for the club to progress on and off the pitch. Is this where it comes from? I cannot believe that Rupp would be asking £10m unless he doesn't actually want to sell.

 

I've heard similar re. A 10m valuation. However that figure goes back over a year. The world, the game and the club are in very different places. Hes had his money back in terms of plugging budget holes thanks to McBurnie. He's now facing a very real scenario of having to keep pumping 6-7 figure sums in every year, just to keep us afloat. Hes also seen that getting out of this league is easier said than done.

If he wants out, I think theres a deal to be had much nearer half of the 10m 'valuation'. In fact I think he'd snap someone's hand off for 5m.

 

I do know and I know a 10m starting point isn't going to happen. I hear he isn't hardly moving from that stand point hence why I was asking the question.

I fully understand how buying and selling works mate the issue here is Rupp is LOANING the club money and can just sit on the the club and I suppose that why he can say 10m or no deal. He doesn't need to sell when hes doing what he's doing.

How much do you think the stadium is worth, hypothetically if I was wanting to buy I'd say you don't own the training ground, you don't own the ground etc. The only asset is probably Reece Staunton. He hasn't got much ground to stand on when it comes to negotiation.

He owns it, he's got all the ground he ever needs unless he's actively trying to sell.

 

Thats pretty much it. He owns the show, he decides where it goes, if its sold, if he keeps it. If he doesn't want to sell unless the price is right then any talk of selling is all hypothetical.

 

Some would argue he's done exactly the opposite during his time as owner, from a league one club twice in the mix for a shot at the Championship to a poor league two club.

Unfortunatly every time this is mentioned, the club say Stefan is right behind the club, I accept that is what most owners would say, I'm sure there are people out there who would be interested at the right money, bearing in mind we dont own our stadium and we train at a school .

He's a puppet, he will be putting fans off the scent as much as he can by orders from the club. Something's going on.

 

If he saw the reactions of city fans to their team losing - that might have been something to do with it. For me that made me proud and showed what it is about supporting your team - even when losing heavily but appreciating what an achievement- it was - a Div 2 team playing at Wembley in a major cup final. Roy of the Rovers stuff.
