The moment he starts pandering to what people on here ask for is the moment he's doomed.

 

I'm sure he's not doing it to appease fans, he knows the results aren't good neither are the performances something had to give, Stuart really doesn't help himself at times but we know the guy wears his Bradford City heart on his sleeve.

 

He leaves himself open to criticism with remarks like the last time he was here about not having a clue how to turn it round and his remark this time about Evans position. Had it been any other manager he would have had a much harder ride from the fans

Is it pandering? Either way, whilst I'd be delighted to see more consistency in the way he sets his team up, to come out with remarks like he has is surprising. He isnt a novice - he has 15 years experience as a manager. Has the idea that lower league players arent as tactically flexible as top players, really only just dawned?

 

Bronco you know that the call for Teflon to be replaced isnt just because of the last 7 games. You will be hard pressed to find anyone on here who thinks it is an appointment that was based on football and taking Bradford City forward. Even you don't think it was the right appointment.

The criticism, the call for a change is based on the question: Is Teflon the right manager to take Bradford City forward and the resounding answer is no.

 

I disagree most were welcoming when the announcement was made, things weren't great last year but then again things weren't great for a few years I didn't hear many saying they wanted McGod out last season most thinking fans were happy to give McGod time.
Unfortunately we haven't started as most would have wanted but still early days, no one is suggesting if McGod doesn't turn things around soon there will be pressure put on him, and the board could be forced to act but there are many scenario's to be played out before that, possible new a CEO we're told who would want a say in who our manager is if they come with a plan with regards the clubs future, so sorry the resent backlash from some fans is because of their frustrations with how poor things have been so far this season, even someone like Park say he wasn't happy with McGod's appointment but it's too early to call for his head.

Just seen the goal, deary deary me, that's Sunday League stuff - in fact any Sunday League side would have stopped that.

 

No point changing manager until the new CEO - and hopefully some sort of plan - is known.

But to not add more to the front line we have, is an absolute dereliction of duty from McCall and Rhodes/Rupp. Even if the plan was to do things on the cheap, you can’t tell me that whatever we spent on Clarke and DMH couldn’t have been spent on 1 half decent forward, or that we couldn’t have begged a favour from a couple of premiership or championship clubs to take a couple more younger lads on loan.

The lack of any goal scoring threat or threat from ouT wide is THE most predictable thing about our performances.

 

Fortunately for him we've now got 4 easy games on the trot. 3 teams below us on the league and the cup game against amateurs.

They've come at a good time for Stuart but he needs to get the results. Get to the end of that 4 game run and its fine badly and it will be curtains.

I’d fully expect Barrow to beat us at the weekend.
