We run cheap tickets to try to full capacity and don’t.

We could do with a 15k stadium or even a12k one and operate at normal price costs.

 

And? We currently average over 15,000 after a price increase.

Nowhere have I said we need one backer, you need to read more clearly. It's called a consortium. The council and Bulls offer nothing so you can preclude them. JCT may look at a sponsorship package but that won't scratch the surface. The university would be a tie in of sorts but again it's a small niche University who would possibly look at a mutually beneficial partnership. Not really bringing the funds to the table is it. Even if Rupp did have the appetite to build a new stadium he would not be putting his own money in, as a businessan you should know that. It would be borrowed on the same lines that BFG did. And we need to drop this 8th or 9th biggest city stuff. We have a city whose metropolitan area stretches out as far as North Yorkshire. Some within that postcode are as close to Burnley and Manchester or less than half an hour from Elland Road. It's also statistically one of the poorest if not the poorest city in the country. I'm trying to paint you a picture of why people generally do not invest in Bradford or have traditionally gone elsewhere for their football.
In theory a new stadium could be built. With Valley Parade standing like it does I'm telling you it won't.

At the end of the day you can wish or fantasise as much as you want. The real life practicalities are somewhat different. If you can find someone willing to throw 10 mill at us, otherwise it's just all bluster.
There might be someone out there who is willing but I've seen little evidence of it. It's not as though you can twist these people's arms either. There has to be real willing on their part. Just think about all the publicity we had under Parkinson, promotion and wembley, beating Arsenal and Chelsea. Even with all that advantage it wasn't as though the rich were beating down our door. We got Edin and Rupp.

 

Yes and I read absolutely nothing to suggest he was belittling the club. In fact, it was more the opposite.

I'll keep asking you till I get an answer. Where is the money coming from? I'll say again, in my 40 odd years of support we've only ever had one man to show any level of ambition and that was BFG. In 40 years. And he didn't use his own money.
And I'm asking this because without this mythical being that I keep asking for evidence of where the hell is the money coming from? And I need examples of clubs who have left a historically lower level football club behind? One that doesn't have this mythical multi millionaire benefactor who has supported their club all their life like Matthew Benham.

 

That's rather hopeful of you Storck. @Fordy117 will tell you he is not a charity so he doesn't have to actually give solutions to the problems he talks about. In reality he has no idea.

I thought he came across very well in the interview and talked a lot of sense (not sure I've said that many times before!) Not noticed him belittling the club before but I might have missed it when he did

 

He's said what the majority of fans believe happens at a club. No issue in my eyes.
