Agree. Sometimes managers get obsessed by formations and I’m never a fan of square pegs in round holes. Purchase the players to fit a formation but once transfer window over don’t then force it

 

Away form looking much better a win at Bolton today and were within a minute of winning at tForest green with nine men

I still don't think we're nearly as bad as some are saying.

I don't know why some aren't seeing the weaknesses in other side's. We're stronger than most.

It helps that their goalie made 2 mistakes. That's life.

 

Good performance. Stick everyone in their normal position, do the basics well and avoid mistakes. At this level, it doesnt take much more to be at least top half.

Plenty of 7 and 8s across the park today. Probably should have had more goals, i thought 3-1 flattered them.

AOC rock at the back dont think he missed an header from their long balls.

That midfield triumvate combined really well , always a threat. Id be really disappointed if sutton or clarke came back in on tuesday.

Novak and Donaldson rolled back the years today, playing the targetman role. Won the ball and played someone else in.

All in all a good day.

Team and management get some praise for coming back like that after a slating (albeit justified) on monday.

 

The goal keeping error got our noses in front and gave us a bit of confidence, but all round as you say 7/8, DMH having good game, no complaints, now we back it up with 3 points at home to Walsall, then present table toppers Newport are our visitors next Saturday.
