    Paudie is out as he is serving the last match of his ban. Ismail is out with a hamstring injury while Evans picked up a knock and will be out for two weeks. Four players missed training on Thursday but it's unknown how serious these knocks are.

    Mansfield recruited well since last season but have struggled so far this season having failed to record a league win in the first 5 games. Mansfield will be without Joe Riley who is out long term with an injury picked up in pre-season. Ollie Clarke is also likely to be missing. McLaughlin will also be a doubt having been forced off injured in the previous match

    City hasn't won an away game since 12th October 2019 when they beat Morcomebe by 2 goals to 1. Lockdown does make that sound worse than it is but it is 14 games without an away win. Mansfield has only recorded 4 home wins in the last 23. If any game ever had a draw written over it then it's this one.

    There is a good chance of both teams scoring. 50% of Manfield's last 20 home games have seen both teams score while 60% of Bradfords last 20 away games have seen both teams score

    Mansfield has an xG of 1.45 while City has an xG of 1.72 for this match so both teams are expected to score between 1 and 2 goals. The most likely result is a 1 all draw with stats suggesting a 12% chance of this

    There are very few people in this squad who can't easily be replaced with players of equal capability. As long as its not Wood or Watt, we won't really see much difference.

    He should be motivated to strengthen purely through the gaps that exist when everyone is fit, not by injuries.

    13 away without a win.

    Mansfield in same period, 2 home wins in 13 including a 3-0 win against us.

    4 home wins in their last 23 home league games. Yikes.

    With lockdown, I guess 6 months but no matter how you dress it up, that's a really poor stat. Macca has achieved 1 point from 12 on the road...

    It's hard to see Stuart being able to bring in another forward without either Guthrie or Donaldson leaving.

    Neither are good enough based on current evidence, but both are senior players who could upset the harmony of the dressing room I would imagine.

    Sadly, the chances of offloading either are EXTREMELY slim.

    That may well be the case, but Stuart has already said he prefers to work with a smaller, tighter squad. So without outgoings he’ll be reluctant to add to the numbers who’ll be sat in the stands, with potential to upset the harmony.
