Absolutely love Harry Lewis. Strong keeper but looks a real character too and here he is joining in with the chants. Enjoy him while he’s here, Bantams, as he’s Championship bound at some point (hopefully with us!)

 

Watch Lewis when cook scores. He is like a 12 year old skipping and dancing. Superb.

Hard to pick a MOTM tonight

Thought Crichlow didn’t put a foot wrong tonight.

 

Over the decades the amount of gamesmanship done to us has been awful to watch.

High time WE give a good dose of that medicine.

Something needs to be looked at over that 10 minutes added on!

Exactly. I’m not even sure it was a free kick in the first place. And Platt was excellent before he went off.

 

As I wrote after the Salford game, we're firmly in the promotion race and I seriously can't think of a better team /squad than us.

If they can just sort out the home 'hesitation' play - Top 3 is very much on.

 

Wasn't Joe Jordan their manager at the time, what a disappointing night that was .

 

I think the one thing we absolutely know for sure is that TWO goals is the ticket.

Sounds obvious, but there's not gonna be many games where we concede two - Wimbledon aside, and one of the earlier games, if we score two we're well on course for victory.

But getting the second goal has been beyond us recently... hopefully that restores the confidence of the attackers. Great goals from Richie and Cookie.

 

Another great win on the road. Tough place to go but it seems to be a kind ground to us in recent times.

At this stage of the season I'm more than happy to be 5th in the league and only 2 points outside the top 3. Not a bad place to be, but it remains a very tight pack all the way down to mid-table.

Felt the second yellow was really harsh on Platt. Having watched the incident back he was already commiting to kicking the ball before the ref blew his whistle. Had the whistle blown a few seconds earlier then the decision would have been understandable. In the end I felt it was a little harsh.

 

I enjoy reading other views on forums as it give a interesting opinion about us, we complain about the team not playing as a unit and having a big squad but the comments below give a outsider perspective on the squad.

What really struck me about bradford is how they did the basics well.

You know, playing forwards uptop and not in defence and having defenders play in defence and quality players playing in their correct positions.

Remarkable how by signing players where you need them and playing them in the correct positions can actually work.

What a refreshing change.

 

Has to be Songo'o.

 

That would be my preference at the moment, you knew when Sparkie brought Songo'o on he would defend every ball knocked into the box, along with a certain Andy Cook back there doing his bit for the team defensively.

Ref was for Mansfield all night.
How he didn't give handball before Smallwood scored is beyond me.
Glad he didn't but if Smallwood hadn't have scored there is no way he would have blown.
