    I don't see it being Garner. I'm not sure he would've learn't to play entertaining football working under pardew and pulis.

    The owners stated they want to see exciting and entertaining football. I'm not sure a coach who has worked under 3 dinosaurs would play the way we want.

    I don't know what preferences he has in the style he would adopt but he worked for those people they didn't work for him.

    Garner has certainly got a decent pedigree with young players. If he turns Gibson into Zaha or Patrick into Victor Moses, I'll be very happy (I'm sure our owners will be too...kerr-ching)!

    Interesting CV. It would be gamble to see if he could convert PL experience into a first team manager. But in my effort to try be positive, if he is properly supported by the board, I would give him a tentative thumbs up.
