I've the documented quote for "I know football".
The rest I used the word alleged, because in this day and age of social media, a little bit incorrect and it can cause problems. However I will state the people where I've discussed and received rumour are from people I trust.

An appropriate response. To be honest I couldn’t bring myself to read his reponse to my initial post in full after the first few lines, Blackburn... links to news articles... It bored me. It was always going to be one of the Usual ‘all is rosey in the garden no matter what’ suspects that responded and like clockwork he did. When all said and done, the majority of supporters can see an obvious decline in the state of the club at the moment. We are weaker now than we were when the German owners took over. Anyone who thinks otherwise is blinkered at best. The previous regime said they were passing the club on to owners who had the ambition and tools to take us forward and to the next level. That has not happened. Quite the opposite. I appreciate Banbrotams passion, after all is said and done, we’re all City fans and passionate, and I’ll be happy to be proved wrong if we do well and get promoted by some miracle. I’ll even meet the chap and buy him a pint if he’s right, but right now, I can’t see me having to shell out a penny!
