I'd prefer him to Warburton

I'd like to ask what people think Warburton has done, apart from take over a Brentford team who were arguably the best in the division and get it promoted. Comes across as a bit of a 'know it all' to me.

Interesting that as soon as it went slightly paired shape, both his last two clubs got rid immediately, suggesting an abrasive style.

McCann, would be dying to prove Posh wrong, knows the division and wasn't that bad

 

What does it matter who the manager is? Come on tbh it doesn’t matter who it is, at best treading water in this league, or a relegation battle. Unfortunately we didn’t bag a billionaire, just a couple of guys who fancied investing in our club. Not sure how money can be made though. Presumably they are going to try to keep us entertained with exciting football. Umph not a chance, no point if we keep losing 5-6.

We are nothing like the udders, they did bag a town fan who happened to be a billionaire. We could fill our stadium every week and still not have enough cash to keep pumping in millions. Yes I know we could fluke it, like Millwall did, but the chances are pretty slim tbh.

I am so disappointed, I was taken in by our new owners. Yes I know this is negative and we are supposed to get behind the club, but it is how I feel. Our best chance of getting out of this league was last year, second best chance was this year. Now we are here for the duration if we are lucky. Even if we fluke it, we cannot sustain ourselves in the Championship.

I said a couple of seasons ago, if we don’t get out of this league our chances of promotion get slimmer as each season goes by. As the parachute payments make almost impossible for us to compete.

 

The trouble with him though is he is basically a one club man player and manager

 

If Shrewsbury win they’ll think they can do it on a low budget

I would prefer Shrewsbury win because Rotherham are our rivals but ... really it will give Edin fuel to think we can make the play offs on the same budget

 

Don't disagree, but Huddersfield didn't bag a billionaire. he's worth about 2 or 3 times what Rupp is worth. (Depending on which sources you use).

 

Yeah and Huddersfield manager is a big fan

Rupp just thinks we can get into the championship and get a few games on sky and he can make a few quid

He just seems like the bigger name spouted about, McCanns ok I guess but I would personally prefer warburton he had a harsh time at rangers he’s never gunna win the spl with celtic having all the cash

 

He has had failures as well . We either go for the extra experience or someone who has the ability to take the first or second step
I just wish they would get on with it so the message board can divide up into crap or decent appointment
