Why is there a discussion on Mr Mason's departure.... when he hasn't departed ?

Thank you, but what difference does it make if it was a phone converstaion or a text message the reply was from James as posted "late yesterday afternoon James was still COO at Valley Parade and that was from the man himself" why the 3rd degree ?.

 

Out of interest, does anyone know where the rumour started and who we point the finger at should it be a false one?

 

It’s from a few people desperate to have a go at Edin at all cost

 

I started the thread, so you can point your finger in my direction. However, it was after a series of strange comings and goings on Twitter.

 

The UEFA coefficient is a problem for Scottish clubs qualifying for European competitions. Their first matches take place in the week after players have returned from their summer break, usually against opponents who are already in mid-season. Consequently they are underprepared, lose and it affects the coefficient.
As a City supporter who has lived in Scotland for 40 years I have watched a number of pre-season friendlies up here where " generally poor players" have outshone the Bantams.

 

Absolutely 100% agree. Some on here will rest at nothing until he goes back to Germany and sells for £1 to a local hero like Mark Lawn.

One thing that really annoys me is why everything is questioned. Essentially what is the difference between Lawn taking 9% interest on his £1million loan and Edin taking a £100,000 salary ? Absolutely didly squat. I'm getting to the point where I've had it with BCFC forums and facebook pages because there are so many negative shits on both just waiting for certain people to feck up so they can have a go.

 

Agree - pretty sad state of affairs.

How so?

Edin will be paying tax & NI on his salary, while Lawn would only pay tax on the interest, and I'm sure he (like every other businessman in the country) found a way to minimise that tax exposure. Other than that there's not a fat lot of difference

 

Beyond a joke now!! Bradford City just dont seem to have any good news at all to tell us about. No wonder everyone is doom and gloom. We need something to cling onto for next season. Is it us who are dragging our heels over the coach appointment, or have we become a 'leper' club?

Not sure working as en employee of Bradford City guarantees some kind of nirvana work life.

Firstly is the £100,000 salary an hypothetical figure, or is this factual ?

Anyway.
Mr Lawn loaned a Million pound to the club when banks wouldn't touch us, however he saw the loan at the time important to his plans in progressing the club. Very brave decision at the time and I'm thankful to him for it.

Mr Rahic's 'salary' as far as I see it does very little in progressing the fortunes of the club, perhaps he should have a salary structured on bonus's rather like his employees.

 

I don’t think the majority of people are looking at this thinking, “brilliant he’s made a balls up of this as well”. I think most people are just very worried about what’s happening at the club.

 

I'll repeat...2 summers ago Stuart wasn't appointed until 20th June and I don't remember all this impatience back then when the position was probably more desperate with our most successful manager in years having just fecked off and taken all the back room staff with him and leaving us with 8 registered players!

 

This time it’s self inflicted. 2 years ago it wasn’t

 

I believe @Hoochy-Min was the first to mention it last Friday, but it has been doing the rounds for a few weeks that Plymouth had been in for him, but Friday was the first time I saw it mentioned on here.
