He probably is one of a few. I'm not sure what to make of cotterill to be honest. His Bristol city side was probably the best side I've seen at this level since we've been back in it but he had a huge budget to work with - which won't be the case here.

I’m really not concerned that we haven’t signed any players. Anyone who is moaning about that now is being ridiculous. We need to get a manager in asap because what is far more concerning is Edin playing at being manager and signing players and doing the retained list himself because hes the only one at the club and he “knows football”.

 

They are but the transfer window isnt even open and you are already moaning we haven't made signings.

Just read it, their philosophy hasn’t changed, so it would be interesting to know what lessons have been learnt from last season, or how can we evaluate?

Hardly anything in the artice we did not know, they want a coach who can produce attacking entertaing football as well as bringing youth through (looks like nobody has told Edin about the development squad getting watered down or going) and all this to be done on a limited budget.

That's better its called debating, I've not written anyone or anything off, I as many are desperate for a bit of positivity from Valley Parade with regards the new coach, they knew there was a chance Grayson might not take it and IMO should have had something in place from the other candidates who applied.
How can the new man accept the list Edin and Greg have put forward, that would have been done with the thought that Grayson took the job, the new guy will have his own thoughts about players and rightly so, pangs of Stuarts first season dont you think.

They obviously haven't, I posted maybe they thought Grayson would take the job permanently with a little give and take, if so they were wrong and should have had a plan "B" ready with candidats who applied when a Grayson was appointed they could have advertised the job again and seen if there were any better candidates, that would have been a start, smackes of another McCall first season situation.

 

They are interviewing, would folk prefer them to pick a name out of a hat or get the right man???

The new man does need input and maybe they will be privvy to Abbos list. I am sure they will.

I wonder if Cathro is in the frame to assist McClaren at QPR?. He was his assistant at Newcastle. Cathro seems to have a very good name as an assistant, working under McClaren, Benitez and Nuno Espírito Santo. However, it sounds lke the responsibility of the head coach/manager role at Hearts was too much for him
