Parkinson not accepting Edin's vision is very different to Edin breaking promises to Parkinson woukd you not agree?

Parkinson not accepting the vision indicates that Edin had been completely straight with Parkinson but he didn't like what he heard which is completely fair enough. It doesn't indicate any broken promises though.

 

Well, according to the T&A (can’t even blame Parker because he’s on leave), it ISN’T going to be Heckingbottom as he’s said he wants a break from the game.

So if he wants a break, why would he have even spoken to us? And if we’ve interviewed him and he said he wasn’t interested, what the hell are we delaying things for? If Edin doesn’t know what he wants yet or whether those he has interviewed are suitable, will he ever know???!!!!!

 

It says in the article that they have spoke to him the delay is because Rahic is clueless and doesn't know what to do

 

Has Keith Curle been ruled out? Not saying he’s better than the names been linked, but he’s still looking for a job. Rahic may look at him as someone to get the best out of Wyke again.

 

I still think we will get either McCann or Hopkin as the new head coach. If Barnsley do appoint the German guy then there's only us and Doncaster in league 1 that need a new manager/head coach so there isn't much more options for these 2 guys to go for unless they drop down to league 2 or non league.

I think this may be the diplomatic way of saying - I don't like the sound of what you're offering so I'll use the old "take a break" excuse to get me out of it.

This radical new approach of running things at the club, seems to be frightening off potential managers. My take on this after four weeks is, the calibre of applicants is poor hence the delay to see if anybody half decent will appear on the horizon. It wouldn't surprise me if it's a unknown and the old "Its somebody we've been interested in for a long time" gets trotted out.

 

Wonderful, so we are now back to square one.
Obviously another one as done a U Turn in negotiations.
I wonder if your allowed to appoint your own backroom staff,or is it a condition you have to keep those already employed at the .club

 

This may be the reason for eventually taking on an "unknown German" if that happens. We have to go further afield to get someone who will willingly follow this way of running the club. It is an important decision and must not be rushed. I just wish some kind of update could be given or a decision could be taken.

 

A statement from the Ivory Tower would be most welcome no matter how small.
Unfortunately don't think anything other than "We are still searching for a Head Coach" would change anything we don't already know it's becoming nothing short of farcical.
Buying into the so called Model must be far to much for those interested thus far.

 

They should be updating us but I fear they have nothing to add. What I'd like to hear from them is a commitment to abandon this plan if it starts to unravel, and a willingness to invest their own money to bale it out of it does.

Kenny left. Short & Banks are out of contract so can't see them being kept on. Clean slate for the new guy.

Other than 'we're working hard, speaking to lots of people and getting closer'.

They can't slag off the quality of the candidates or admit to being turned down.

 

Hecky would not have gone for an interview if he intended to take a break, he would be on holiday somewhere.
