He quoted two Peterborough deals and their chairman called him a liar on both counts.

Or remember that 3 weeks ago Thursday the owner said they were happy with the shortlist they had prepared after speaking to all the candidates and yet are no where near close to appointing somebody.

what, we are after a coach ie continental style then brings in Grayson? Does not make sense.

In the continent head of football and chairman get the fans anger when their team are failing. You dont just blame the 1st team coach and move onto the next mug.

Old style managers get the sack and rightly so if the team fails, in the continent is totally different.

Edin wants to run a continental style but sack the coach when players turn out to be below par, ha ha

 

Nixon knows nothing and probably doesn't even know who the 2 candidates are.

There is nothing to suggest we wont have to wait a couple more weeks. Grayson left on the 8th May did he not so we are already 4 weeks down the line with no clue on who it might be.

The candidates will have potentially other offers. If they dont materialise they will take up a coach role here.

Lets be fair, they are gambling their futures on Edis vision. And for once I am 100% behind Edin if he knows he needs to tell these potential 1st team coaches the exact layout. Then there is no complaints weeks down the line.

 

But Grayson was offered a 2 year deal. So Edin did want to work with him?

Think about this logically.

Remenber Simon being asked about what the future holds. He had a vision on how to get promoted.

So Simon knows he will not be out of work long but did sound if the owners bought into his vision he would commit to City.

The club did not buy into it. No matter how you spin it. They were miles apart.

So the club can offer him a 10 year contract as a coach with 10 bob and a mars bar for all I care. HE did not sign! and here lies what I think Edin wanted. Simon to not buy into the Edi plan rather than the other way round.

No surprise it's a massive hurdle for any candidate ......... If CITY don't know what they want - then how can ANY candidate prepare ?

 

Its not gospel. I will back the Edi on this. I would rather we have the man Edin wants and can work with. Its a post that will take time to fill but once filled the buck stop with Rahic.
