Management trio. How long do they have?

I really can't understand why this thread exists or some of the posts in it. We all want our team to go forward. MC might be a genius appointment and he will give his all. Why don't we all just get behind him even if we have a bad start, just like jagger {good title for a song). He played many games as a pro under a number of different managers and seems to have a brain. Gut feeling; he might just give a good account of himself.

 

Depends on who you mean by ‘we’. I’d like to think fans will give them enough time to fully implement their ideas with the players, before calling for their heads.

However, if ‘we’ means the owners, I’d expect they may not be as patient

 

I think the owners will be far more patient than the fans IMHO.

They know the project that's on the table from MC and I expect them to give him all the time he needs to implement it on the pitch.

 

I agree. Unless it's a catastrophic string of results or a complete mutiny from the squad then the owners will have to be very patient because there's no hiding from the fact that getting on to a 4th manager in 12 months would reflect very poorly on them.

 

I don't understand it either. There's been plenty of seasons where we've done shite in pre-season, had poor recruitment and suffered - mainly the summers of 2009, 2010 & 2011 (especially 2011) but no-one gae the owners the dogs abuse that they are giving Edin.

I've yet to see a scrap of genuine evidence that he picked the team, made signings on his own or treated staff appallingly, it's all hearsay and rumour. I especially don't get the issue over James Mason. He probably was a really nice guy, but nice guys more often than not don't make effective COO's and he was pilloried when he first got the job. Ok, he learnt fromhis mistakes, but if we are to progress to a Championship team we need a ruthless COO. To me he was little more than a glorified company secretary.

 

and what precisely is Edin then, if Mason is a glorified company secretary? Not sure his cv to be Head of Football cuts it either!

 

Edins a good hard working soul with the club firmly in his heart.he aint going any where and the more you back him in to a corner the more he comes out fighting.

We went with a proven track record in grayson and we all know how that turned out (although to be fair the squad was dogshit). What im trying to say is anything can happen with MC so lets just see what happens

That was not my question. It seems we have a lot of unqualified and lacking experience at our club, so I am guessing it was something else as to why Mason was shown the door.

Im guessing but is it anything to do with getting shut of maccall?mason leaving/ousted,the statement i know football? The hendrie fiasco that the net got hold off and blow it out of the water facts wise?odd person leaving behind scenes??

Well I would try again, but tbh, I really can’t be bothered with somebody like you who believes every sop that is thrown at you. Unlike yourself I would be eternally grateful if you didn’t reply.

 

Then this to me shows your just one of the internet minority who cant back up with facts not hear says or rumours etc.
