Please don’t mention McCall, in any shape or form just a slight hint is enough to set a couple off on here, you are only allowed to criticise him, and they will keep it going until the Cows come home.

We have no idea how our squad will perform, on paper it looks good, but as we all know we don’t play football on paper, whiteboard, computer or Fifa 18. We can start to look at how we are doing in September/October. We still need in my view too good strikers at the least, and that is whether Wyke goes or stays. We also need to have a team out of our squad who can play 442, as I think we will need it.

On the plus side, this lovely rain, will be working wonders on our pitch.

Qué? Why did McCall need a 'bye' in his first season? He did brilliantly, creating an attractive passing side, with a fantastic defence, that got to the playoff final and lost by a single offside goal, despite having no striker worth the name available to him for half of it.
Last season was a different kettle of fish, granted, but no 'bye' required for 2016/17.

Norman's always has had an intense dislike of Stu, if he'd have won the play-off final, Norman wouldn't have given him any credence for it.

And actually, as everyone knows, I am a firm believer that a better manager (Parky for example) would have got us up no play off required.

 

Sorry @Norman Corner but you do talk some tosh at times, I very much doubt there is ONE Bradford City fan on here who wants the team, coach or even owners to fail, they fail we as a club fail, get a grip mate.

 

Why didn't he then? The season before McCall took over, PP achieved less than McCall on a considerably higher budget.

 

Dont forget PP surrendered at Millwall whilst planning how to get Bolton bak on track .

 

Who knows, but the playoff semi final vs Millwall was embarrassing to watch from start to finish.
