I'm not saying it's a meaningless game, but if Kai can make the bench the coaching team must think he is good enough to bring on if/when required.
Doyle partnered Miller when he was brought on at Shrewsbury and vise versa against Barnsley, IMO Tuesdays game would be ideal to see if Doyle can play as well with our big lad as he did with Davies at Oldham, just a thought .

 

Either that or it's the case of making up the numbers. When Jones is fit I'd expect him to take Brunker's place in the matchday 18.

 

You could be right on both counts, just how long are we going to have to wait for the return of a fit Alex Jones.

 

Hopefully most of the players that we’d consider to be first choice in the team who haven’t played so far (McGowan, Seedorf etc), will be given a good run out.

That would be with the aim of playing the preferred full first XI for the first time on Saturday.

Will be interesting to see if Killa is involved or not. Am beginning to think something is up now. We’ll see.

 

4-4-2 I hope, on paper should be beatimg Macc with ease.

Was at Poppleton Bar park and ride last month and thought I could see the ball from Sheehan's penalty re entering the atmosphere after orbiting the earth.

 

I'd like Connor to get a game and it'd be good to see T start.

Jones is a strange one, posts on face book/twitter he was in Dubai getting personal training after his operation then pre-season we assume he's back training but no info, with regards Reeves they are introducing him back into pre-season training as they feel he's ready.

 

Full strength team for me. Game time is crucial to get the players fully fit and improve their understanding/gelling, which is clearly still lacking.

I would be tempted give McGowen or Killa a game instead of NKP and also go to a normal back 4. Would be happy to see either 4-2-3-1 or 4-4-2. Not too bothered as long as it’s a back 4.

 

Plus Riley at left back to see how good he is should we pick up injuries.

 

Really not bothered about this game, can't seem to get motivated by it. I think half of me thinks we will play the bench from the Barnsley game and lose or we will be typical city and start our full team from Saturday and lose. Either way I've already got in my head we will lose so I'm only arsed by the Southend game (which I think we will lose too)

 

I’m going to this one - can only see one winner (City of course).
Think Mgowan and Killa will both start - Riley Benched and Miller up front with Doyle.

Yep it appears on reading that we drew 2-2 when i went rather than lose 2-1. Must have just felt like defeat after battering them that second half
