No doubt MC will continue his experiments, and with Macclesfield being in the bottom two of League 2 - I can only see this going one way.

 

Not going, but definitely interested. We are a new team and every time we played, and especially win together will help us gel. Plus it'd be nice to win one or two cup games for the first time in a while.

 

Im off, gets me out of the house.. Old school uncovered terracing behind the goal, will be the first time the daughters experienced that, hope it pisses it down! Been once before, have lovely memories of simon eastwood been totally blinded by the sun yet refusing to wear any of the 100 caps thrown to him by supporters, until after their goalie or defender launched an 80 Yard bomb straight over his head to be tapped in by the striker. Ended up 2-1 loss, We must have hit the post or bar four times in the last five minutes.
On to the match itself, i wouldnt piss about too much.. Maybe try two upfront somehow, bring in mcgowan or Killgallon possibly but leave the rest to get used to one another and the system

 

I do think we will win this, as long as Macclesfield play defensively and we play like we did against the Shrews. if they try to press like Barnsley did on Saturday then we will get issues. 2-1 for me

As a note too I was at that Donny game, we should have won that but then vincelot got sent off!

 

I hope Connor wood gets a chance at LB, only fair after Chicksen was poor on Saturday. Likewise Killa and McGowan should start so one can replace NKP.

Think midfield picks itself given the lack of options and I'd like to see Doyle and Miller upfront together.

 

The big risk with making loads of changes is it unsettles any balance that is starting to build.

I agree some changes need doing but not massive changes.

 

Macclesfield are shite, we'll win. Not by much though.

 

I will be making the trip to Macclesfield.
The old open terrace there reminds me of the old Saltergate away end.
Hopefully a good game of Cup football on a dry night under the lights, and a cash bonus it's only a tenner in.

 

I agree with your comment about Kilgallon or McGowan, I would also give Kai a start along side Doyle, we should have enough on the bench to bring on if things aren't going to plan.
It would give us an idea of how Kai and Eoin can perform together, he keeps getting bench time let's see how he goes against Macclesfield.

 

We can’t afford to lose this. We need to get to 3rd round in the hope of a decent tie.
I’d love Town or Leeds in the next round though

 

I'd say the last thing we need is an embarrassing night against Town or Leeds.

I think he is saying the same. Need to get to third round for a decent draw but would take Huddersfield or Leeds in round 2

 

I know Kai been on the bench for the first two games, however I can only see that remaining if we don’t make a loan signing of a similar type player.

Love the guys attitude, and think/hope he has a career with us, but I’d like to see him go out on loan and get some regular game time. With this in mind, I’d rather see Doyle and Miller up top of we’re to play with two, since I can see this being a more realistic partnership throughout the season.

Also, agree about Kilgallon and McGowen.

Five ? Dunno - But would like to see Bruenker on for the last 20 minutes with either Doyle or Miller.
