So a majority of fans are not happy with the current format of the loyalty scheme - club will take that as an excuse for changing it.

strange that most questions people were happy with the points given and yet a majority were not happy with the overall scheme

An overwhelming 72% don’t want points for pies so on that basis it should stay as it is

I don't get why so many people are against awarding points when buying merch etc. Most away fans who regularly travel will have bought merch in some form or other. Why not garner more points for doing something you would do anyway?

For example 50 points for buying a shirt would make sense equivalent in value to two and a half away games @ £20 a game.

Where did you get that from?

    Q. Do you like the current format of the Loyalty Scheme?
    A. Yes: 45.59% - No: 22.41% - Uncertain: 32%

    I agree with this.

I'm not sure purchases at the club should necessarily be weighted the same £-wise as actually traveling when then ultimate benefit is priority access to away tickets, but a point for every £X spent makes sense to me and encourages higher revenue for the club.

I voted No for that question as I didn't want some new people who come into the club to buy 50 shirts or 6 burgers a game to drive up their point totals. actually attending games/ getting season tickets is what should increase the points

That's not a majority being unhappy. It's actually a plurality of fans being happy. You can't count unsures as unhappy. They'll split (relatively) roughly the same percentage as the actual Yes/No votes.

Because most people understand what the scheme is and its purpose. Go to away games to get points which means you can go to more away games.
It’s not too hard to grasp

Because you are about 50 and look like a Twit in City top.

Why should points be given for purchasing kits etc. If you want one just buy one.

I don't really care either way, but as I said a few posts up, in house purchases could be lower weighted meaning those who travel still end up at the front of the queue whilst encouraging greater revenues.

Though admittedly that does start to make the scheme overly complex.

But the more savvy folk would work out that no matter how many pies / pints they buy wouldn’t equate to the same amount of points as those who travel up and down the country week in week out.
There have been ample opportunities over the last 2 seasons to attend away games to build up points but because there’s ‘nothing riding on it’ (someone on here uses that phrase a lot), then they couldn’t be arsed.
Yet fast forward to games with ‘everything riding on it’ they expect to get a ticket.
Well as GAYLE says in her song ABCDE Feck you.

The scheme was initially labelled as a loyalty scheme. Now its going to be called City Points I believe. No inference of loyalty there. Just an accumulation of points that allows you the chance to attend away games.

But you can accumulate more points if you are already buying merch etc. I don't get why you wouldn't want to improve your own points total unless you don't buy merch then of course you would vote against it.

I rarely attend away games these days so buy a shirt before the season starts and buy a pie at the game as a bit of a tradition if you like. Even so I will never get near the tally needed for most away games.

I would just like the home points to be allocated, for all the games I have bought a ticket for!

As I've mentioned previously, the position has been complicated by the fact that not all allocated points are being shown in people's purchase history. This makes it very difficult to check your points total is correct.

Fortunately, as mentioned in the 'Supporters Board Meetings / Minutes' thread the Club "have started process of finding a new ticketing partner. This will also address some of the Loyalty Point issues fans have experienced too".

I agree with most of your post but this is not true, you know exactly where you stand with regards loyalty points so why would a fan who has not accrued enough point expect to get a ticket.

45.59% like the current format, so a majority do not agree with that statement. So 54.41% didn't say they liked the current format

Didn't we ger a new ticketing partner after the takeover? I remember it being talked about, but did it ever happen?

No, we looked but stuck with the same one. Edin was involved and as you could probably guess upset a few companies with his approach which put a few off.
