Which is ridiculous in itself. You shouldn't be able to buy loyalty points even though it may help the club. The current system will be fine once it is bedded in for a year

Got bored after ten, but that's got to be at least 50 votes for a priority card.

What really pisses me off about the current loyalty scheme is the allocation of points for attending home games, even when you've already bought a season ticket.
Due to weddings and other events, postponed from the last two years because of Covid, I'm going to miss quite a few home games this Autumn. Why should I be penalised for that when I've already bought the ticket for those games?

Should have just sold priority cards again. 1000x£30. = £30k to the club with the same bitching as now but money for the club's account

You’ll have sell it to a mate when you can’t make it to a game, that way you’ll get a few quid back and the points. I know, ethically questionable but maybe the club needs to address the issue you raise.

Exactly the same for me working shifts.

If anything, I've shown even more loyalty to the club by buying an ST for the last decade or two even when knowing I'll miss more than a fair chunk every season.

The loyalty points can only be used to gain access to away games, therefore the only way you should be able to earn loyalty points is by attending away games. Simple really.
What next ? 100 points for buying a car park space or 50 points for buying a replica shirt.
Or how about 5 points for buying a pint at the tea bar?

Or what about if you buy a car from JCT 600 it’s 1000 points for showing loyalty to our main long term sponsor.

I wouldn't be surprised. It's all about money and it comes above rewarding away support. The 20 points for a home game attendance is because they reckon people will visit the shop, buy food and drink etc when they won't on an away ticket.
Making money is why the ticket office is now a small booth inside the shop.

A better idea would be to have a separate ‘rewards’ points total which can be redeemed against anything Bradford City related except away tickets.
Anything you buy from the club depending on value has a weighted reward which if saved up over a number of seasons might even give a free season ticket or shirt?
But loyalty points for away tickets should be kept separate and only earned from attending away games.

So when last season the stewards could not get their scanners to work and waved us through we lost loyalty points because of the club's incompetence?, I was of the understanding buying a season ticket entitled you to 23 x whatever home matches accrued, 10/20 points.

Seems that’s not the case and is the exact reason that home games shouldn’t yield any points.
Many of our fans live out of the area and cannot attend midweek games but travel to all weekend away games.
Over the season they’ll have less points than someone attending all home league and cup fixtures.
    Stupid isn’t it?

Last season I missed all home games from the beginning of November until beginning of March due to serious injury and consequently being unable to walk/drive.
    I missed 9 games.
I just accepted that was part of life.
However if I am now being penalised this season, then that seems totally unfair.
I paid the money and the points should be issued.
As City are highly unlikely to be able to access other clubs data, how do they know if someone has actually attended an away game, yet they will get loyalty points.

I got points for all the games last year and yet only attended 4 so unless someone cloned my card it looks like we got points if we had card scanned or not

If City use the same points system as last season you won't lose any points. All 21/22 season ticket holders received 150 points for their season ticket, plus 460 points for the league matches (23 matches x 20 points). It was done on purchases, not attending.

So the starting point for a 21/22 season ticket holder is 610 points (150+460). Add to that 1903 membership (40 points) and a 21/22 priority card (50 points) and a 21/22 season ticket holder would have 700 points. A 22/23 season ticket would add on another 150 points, taking you to 850 points, before any additional home or away match tickets were added on.

Barrow tickets required 940 points to be in Band A (1st priority), so just 90 more points (9 x 21/22 away matches) would have got you there.

that was my understanding, as that is my position, but some seem to be saying they have only got points for the games they attended.

I wondered if it was dependent on how/where you entered the ground
