Yep but it does affect what we can spend on players wages. So the higher the turnover the further the 55% were allowed to spend goes.

 

That’s the ceiling , you are right, but the club decides how much to spend towards that ceiling . I don’t think they currently spend to the ceiling, that’s the issue I think. I’m saying they could spend more if the owner decided to gift or “ loan” monies . That’s what other clubs survive on . We could do with it to add to player budgets….If only?

Steadying the ship until a buyer comes along I would think. Like it or not that’s what he’s doing without “ risking” more funds .
That’s my take and I am NOT saying it’s right or wrong….That will be his instruction to Sparks. Sparks will be measured on that instruction. That’s why people are utterly wrong blaming Sparks, because any other CEO would still have to do the same.

Morais sounded confident after hearing MHs interview that he would know now that it's not going to work and he fully expects him to put it right for next week. We'll know at 2pm on Sat!

 

My brother is already done with Hughes football,he's a season ticket holder but the Mansfield bore draw was his final straw and his three at the back tactic he can't stand.I think i won't see him back until we start to entertain or Hughes is gone.

 

Do you think he has any, if he's not having to fund anything he's sitting pretty unless we take a sudden downturn in form and get relegated then he's in trouble.

 

The sad thing is if Morais is correct which I believe he will be proved right, we've wasted 7 games for Mark Hughes to show us the players as incapable of playing it, and also causing fans unnecessary frustration in the process.

 

Completely agree. Our squad screams 4231 yet for some reason MH seems reluctant to settle on it.

I still think we need another striker and I'd love another centre mid but other than that we've enough options all over the pitch with that formation.

 

Tomkinson is one reason for Hughes to persist with 3 at the back.

 

The only reason I hold out hope is we have played 6 away against some good teams. That’s my glass a little bit full speech. Oh and missing our best two players.
