True but some actually bother to spend on infrastructure, at least we don’t have that cost to bother us.

Is Bescott still owned by the clubs owners pension fund?

Unsure, they had a buyout last year I think.
I know the rental figure of £459k was in their last set of accounts

just checked. The owner sold The club and his pension fund kept the ground.

    Sounds familiar.

That’s appalling, you could build a dump like that for that price.

A bit off centre this , i foresee the amalgamation of leagues 1 and 2 , with a Northern and southern section . The top 4 in each section have a mini tournament end of regular season to decide promotion to the Championship , relegation decided on a straight home and away fixture with the team finishing 1 and 2nd in the confrence . This will dramatically cut traveling costs across the lower leagues .

    "Foresee" is a bit strong.

    Do you recommend that?

I kinda agree, but I don't foresee much at the minute.

No fool that Gordon Gibb, he was not to know the financial down turn and then this present situation what a great deal he brokered.
Especially if football is played behind closed doors and he's still getting rent.

The ones released were signed on loans early season - or DMH on a short term contract. McGee and Middleton were Jan signings I believe, so I wonder if there's a logistical difference in terms of termination dates.

We may not have any income. How many ST's have been sold? The club could be weeks from insolvency?

I've been trying to get people to grasp this. I believe our club, like many others, is in mortal danger. It all depends on whether Rupp is prepared to continue to fund us while we have no income. People aren't going to renew season tickets while the future is so uncertain and we may have no crowd until January. Meanwhile we have the ground rent, other overheads and players contracted for next season to pay.

Could be mistaken but I think the loans will last until around 01st June for the ones who were signed more recently. The season long loans will have been due to finish when season finished with room to extend if we got to playoffs or not
