Wow. Could you be any more selective? The article makes clear that they were missing most of their best players, who were away on international duty. So it was basically Arsenal women's reserves That's a very big difference from the full England team, isn't it?

You also neglect to mention that the Chelsea women's team beat the Chelsea Under 18 men's team.

To me, it's stupid to compare the men's and women's games. The extra speed, height and physicality of men is always going to make it an uphill battle, however skilful the women might be, and there's no way they could compete over a season, rather than an isolated game. But using the Arsenal women's reserves to make a point about the full England team is disingenuous to say the least.

 

Not sure it should have shifted Homes Under The Hammer and Bargain Hunt off the schedule.

I know it's not to everyone's liking but I've really enjoyed the few games I've watched, the girls certainly have talent.
Today there were free kicks and corners and the vast majority were right in the danger area very few under/over hit corners, and there were a few tasty challenges.
Yes I will be watching England lift the World Cup on Sunday morning.

 

Women's football had a long way to come. I've not seen anyone pissed up with a flare up their arse.

I have watched a lot of the World Cup, I love the passion and skill these girls have.
They will never compete in the men’s game but they play in the true spirit of the game, their game, and thousands watch them as they are really entertaining, well done girls and Come On England
