Good starting 11 and quality on the bench, 3 points will do nicely.

 

Thats probably the strongest looking bench we have had all season

 

Just be glad we have a formation to moan about support ffs!

 

We're short of pace in the starting 11

Happy he's kept BRE on the bench though. Needs to learn to keep his head more.

 

My initial thoughts too. FB. However ........... I put my marker down last week, and said the 'team' looked 'Good'. It's not the players I'm concerned about - More about how GB deploys them ! If he serves them up as he did LAST week, fans may as well go home early, or stay in a Boozer !

Here's hoping for a more pressing and encouraging display from the Bantams.

 

Need pace to counter Josh "Lightning" Wright

 

Did you really think we looked good against Newport? I thought we were awful.

 

Bar the strikers, not one player in that starting line up is renowned for their attacking play. Even Cooke who's supposed to be an attacking midfielder won't be used as one.

 

Ironically, the bench looks good for a change. The starting XI? Nah, not for me. I expect a defeat today

 

Losing at HT is my guess with Connolly and ismail coming on at the break when we're chasing it.

 

Even the bench is bollocks. Most of them are coming back from injury, will be nowhere near ready and are only on there as a goodwill gesture.

 

This is the team that won last week without the keeper having to make a save and which we should have won more comfortable. This system helps us cope without Donaldson better and pace to come on if needed

 

Pace can be over rated without an end product, be that a good cross our beating your defender and putting the ball in the net.
I think we'll get all 3 points today

 

If we end up playing 5-3-2 as we did in the first half against Newport it could be dire again, However if he tells the full backs ( who naturally go back in to usual defensive positions ) to get forward 3-5-2 and give the team width and pressure their defense as we did the second half against Newport we will win this.

The 'team' looked good and refreshing - on paper, but how GB set them up was wrong, IMO. I had this conversation with @NorthernMonkey last Satdi !!
It's all about using what is at your disposal correctly, that counts. The team last week, as is today, is more than a match. But if GB plays them too defensively - One day it will bite his arse - Today is NOT a day for that.

 

Is Ifollow working for those who have it I cant get a picture ?.
