Glad to see you're in the Prediction League top 10 for last season, because I've legitimately registered a 4-0 prediction for this one

 

Couldn't commit until Saturday due to son being poorly and time etc.

We should be beating sides like these but nothing is given.

Personally think we've only played well for 90 minutes once this season (Swindon) - we've looked good in some spells during games, but it's time we step it up starting tomorrow.

Would like to see us go 4-4-2. Reeves & Cooke in mid.

 

Maybe too early for Clayton to be back on the bench, but who knows with Bowyer.

 

All our centre mids are what i would call defensive.

 

GB plays Cooke in that defensive role, even though Cooke himself has stated on a few different occasions his best position is further forward

 

Does Bowyer play him there because he believes as we stand with quality in midfield that's the best option, once the likes of Palmer, Devitt, Pritchard are fully fit he might play him in a more attacking role.

 

Well considering Palmer has been shi&e, Devitt, Prichard are better as a AM i am not sure what Bowyer thinks.

Problem is Bowyer has unbalanced the midfield. We have too many midfielders and i think he is confusing himself.

 

Cook looked to be getting further forward on Sat with Reeves being back collecting the ball from the back 4. Few tweaks and hopefully Cooke playing more in a 10 role would be good.

 

Away form does concern me a bit this season, whilst it looks ok enough on paper we have had a lot of good fixtures. Out of the 12 points we've got away from home 10 of the points have come in 4 matches against the bottom 6 home table teams and then draws against Macclesfield (14th) and Scunthorpe (11th). Out of the top 10 home teams we'v played 3 of them and got 0 points. For me if the away form doesn't pick up against the top teams it will add big pressure to games like this and home matches as almost must win if we are to get top 3.

 

Reeves needs to be 10 yards further forward. Never get this collecting from the back. The defenders should be able to pass out from the back. Reeves then should be looking to pass forwards.

Reeves being back is a plus but Bowyer doesn't need to start being more positive in how the players play.

 

Beating the poorer/bottom teams has been a problem in the past so that's got to a positive .

 

You would find a positive in Bowyer even if you caught him going through your wife's knacker draw!

Well not as rough as Keighley. When @Keefly Bantam does his early Sunday morning walk of shame like he's king Don, he isn't worried about knackers. Doesn't need too in them parts. The man is an animal!
