We have no identity on the pitch, no settled system, no creativity and seem to be going backwards. It's all good and well saying we're 5th but the way we are playing is clearly not sustainable which I think is the biggest concern amongst fans. Something needs to change. I'm not suggesting we sack the manager but setting up with wingers and not playing half the team in defence will be a nice start.

How are we going backwards?. We have climbed the table the last 2 weeks. We now have a good run of home games giving us chance to improve our standing even further

 

We bring Doyle back and set the team up to play to his strenghs. Surely Bowyer has enough experience to do that, or has he, a player in Doyle's form needs to be the main focus in the team.

 

That's not true we play at home next week and away on Boxing Day.

We're going backwards in terms of our attacking play and I suppose other teams now catching us up with some pulling away.

At that point I thought he was launching into full on excuse mode with his big side and heavy pitch and wasn't really making a point.

We have sufficiently improved our defensive form.

Focus needs to shift back to attacking form and scoring goals.

We feel like we're a bit 'safe' in terms of our play, and it's not endearing.

 

I was not suggesting any sacking whatsoever..merely the intrinsic need to arrest a pattern of play which was lacking somewhat and an approach which, in my opinion is not creating the momentum expected against modest opponents.Sure we're not doing bad..but will need to do better.
